Did I miss something in the rules?

They would take the best 10 matches for the category we are trying to rank in to determine your position?

How do you get a 5-7k in 10 matches?

Lots of TAG assists. Either sync drop with a bunch of LRM boats, or pray you get 2-3 on your team and get 2-3 TAG assists per enemy.

5 kills = 25 5 assists+15 damage 650 win=25 no death=25
25+15+650+25+25=740 (that's a great game) now if you did 10 of those you would have 7400.

Best 10 scores during the 4 days of the tournament. not 10 matches and done. So if you play 200 matches it takes your 10 best scores from 200 matches. 190 average games with 10 fliers and that proves how good you are.

Last time I checked there were only 8 enemy players...not 10. Why do you say 5 kills and 5 assists? It would be 5 kills and 3 assists, quiaff?
So:
5 kill = 25 (5 pts per)
3 assissts = 9 (3 pts per)
650 damage = 650
Survived = 25
Match win = 25
Total ---------------> 734

You need approx. 910+ damage in order to touch the 1000 point hurdle. Now, if you kill more than you assist, that will yield you a bit more wiggle room in the damage department (maybe).

PS: why 910+ damage? Because you can kill a maximum of 8 players per match. 8*5=40. 40+25(survival)+25(win) = 90 (0 for assists because they were all kills). The rest comes from damage. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am assuming that assists are meant to be the kill assists, not the TAG, Narc, etc. assists.
