Absolutely, I will uninstall the game, and regret paying the $49 dollars I've spent so far.

The charge to set up a merc corp does not bother me... it's the premium time requirement idea to be in a merc corp.

The charge to set up a merc unit isn't the problem, having to have a premium account in order to be a part of a merc unit is.

why would they split the playerbase like that. the whole point of F2P is the allure of playing with your friends.

That's not what they are talking about doing, you wont need to be premium. The Merc owner must pay $10 a month fee to keep it going after paying a one time fee. It is still not a good thing.

Until CW actually comes out and they define the parameters of what a Merc Corps can and cannot do.....I'm withholding my vote.

Bad poll and topic.

Only asks about setup fee, nobody seems to be disputing the setup fee, just the requirement of premium time.

Here's something I wrote on the other thread, which I think sums up my opinion on this just fine;

We need to wait for an official announcement.

I just got a response from one of our guys in the industry. He's calling ******** on the article, as he sees it all the time on new software and hardware. It's designed to get people talking, designed to get tons of web page traffic. It's all journalism.

For example, just before the PS4 was announced they said that is will be able to trump the Titan. It's simply not true. We're better off waiting for an official announcement.

yes we do need to wait, this is as it stands and it is not whether its true or not. it's discussing if it is true will you stop playing.

No, I probably won't stop playing because of this. I'm not saying it's a good idea, though.

I may continue to play lone wolf, but I definitely wont be joining a merc corp if I'm required to have premium status...it's a terrible idea.

There is a massive thread about this issue. I'll post a link here http://mwomercs.com/...-p2play2gether/

There is no poll on the other thread, but it is currently serving as the point of discussion for the premium merc issue. This thread, although with a poll, is serving as a duplicate with the same discussion points being exchanged.
The forum staff has asked that the linked thread be used as the community's joint discussion thread until some kind of official thread or announcement is created, so this thread will be locked and Users are asked to follow the link to the pre-existing thread to discuss it. Thanks for understanding.
