I haven't played this game since September, I think. I've logged in once or twice to see if anything that was promised had been added yet, but because of the same-y combat and constant balance issues, I had mostly given up. Maybe in a few months, I thought, it will be good.

But then a friend linked me this:
http://www.polygon.c...ild-and-faction

>That premium time account can be purchased in quantities ranging from daily to monthly to bi-annually, with the 30-day pack costing $10.

So, since I have a premium "founder" account, will I avoid this, or will I need to pay $10 in perpetuity if I want to use some of the basic features for this game that were promised well over a year ago?

Oh I'm sure they will charge you monthly regardless of if your a founder ... Infact founders may be the only ones daft enough to pay monthly.

founders time has passed, this has nothing to do with it. if you happen to have MC left over from it, that is a plus for you.

a partial subscription base will give the devs more money to hire more people and give more content and faster.

5-6mil from founders helped establish the game not keep it going.

Founder =/= Premium. When your Premium time runs out, you're still a Founder but not Premium.

So if they go with the model they've hinted at (but not confirmed, and stirred up yet another fecal storm of speculation and nerd rage) then yes you'd still have to pay to access the "Premium required" features.
