It has been known to all Jagers pilots that a headshot is fairly common and deadly. I have been shot down and had shot down Jagers alike via headshots.

However, on one match I had been headshot from the back. By an ER PPC. So for all other Jager pilots, is this a common thing? Because this is my first time being headshot from the back. A single shot is all it takes to take my Jager's head off.

Thx.

Chances are you were facing them at the time they took their shot, but were looking away on your screen when you received it. If not, there could be a bounding box issue. That would require some testing.

If you look in the mechlab, it highlights the portion of the mech your looking at, I always assumed this to be the hitbox area? If you look at some mechs you will see some interesting hitboxes. For instance the atlas's lower backside has a portion that is considered the "front center"

Well, unless it has arms above the head like the catapult K2 variant, it wouldn't be that easy to be "boom head shoted".

I also heard that the JägerMechs will be receiving a buff, by having a smaller head.
