I don't really have any problem with anything in this game, but it feels a bit unfair that a Hero mech is released before regular variants.

So today I am proposing

OPERATION HIGHLANDER: THERE CAN ONLY BE NONE.

Anyone sighted in the pink "HEAVY METAL" hero mech, we focus fire till they go down.

We scout for them we find them we kill them and spoil some people's day yes, but its IN PROTEST

It should be held back till another after the regular variants IMO.

Theres nothing wrong with releasing the hero a few weeks earlier. It's not really pay for power unless the mech is legitimately superior to anything else in the slot (it will never be at this point) and it just helps boost the interest and value of the hero mechs for a little bit.

This is a silly overreaction, save your hate and ire for consumables, a legitimate unbalancing pay to win system.

Your opinion is unnecessary and, frankly, foolish. There are MANY people who would love to have the highlander early, You dont like it, thats fine, but to try to impose your opinion upon all those who dont share it is fairly meanspirited. So how about this. To show solidarity with your belief, how about instead of griefing players who choose to buy the Hero Highlander (and thats what it is youre trying to do) All those who oppose the way pgi implemented it vow to not buy it until the regular highlanders are out, thereby showing pgi that they wont gain anything from you until they release all the variants.

Also, I fixed your Highlander quote for you. THAT was a high crime in my opinion. I mean, say it right or dont say it at all!

I suggested last month that paying for early access to battlemechs before they were released to everyone was a great idea to earn some extra dough. In this case just releasing the hero variant early is even better. I am 100% okay with this format.

Still, I will hunt highlanders just for sport!

That mech is DOA. The hardpoints won't make it viable to go head to head against a DDC so the only option for that highlander is long range fire support. I am betting 3 PPC and a Gauss builds are going to be common.
