but she is still in her Trial mechs aka The Heat death traps.
now think about what map we have ALL had to play over and over and over again.
Yep good old Tourmaline, I know some people will say "oh they will learn heat managment" no they dont they just get pissed off and frustrated over heating after 2-3 shots then they get obliterated by people with DHS or low heat weapons.
I know they needed data about the map, but really really bad idea to force us to play that map THAT MUCH, Im sure there have been a good ammount of new players who stopped playing because of that map as well.
Please next time you introduce a new map, DO NOT massively increase its appearance rate. You will get your data without burning people out on your maps to the point we never want to see it again. (if we can ever choose to not do certain maps Tourmaline will be the only one i never touch again)
seems alot of of decisions made by Infinite games and PGI show very very little thinking ahead...

she still has control issues, she cant currently handle a mech that requires constant movement to avoid being obliterated. And she is the type of person who likes to do things herself with minimal help even if she dies horribly lol. So since she doesnt know what mech she wants to buy yet she is sticking to trials till she decides

Tourmaline comes out, and PGI makes it show up more often to address issues brought up previous patch: People cry about it coming up too much.

To be fair, there is too much of a good thing, and Tourmaline is definitely threading that line. I have nearly 400 games played in my Jenner since stat tracking, and 90 of them are TD, while the 2nd highest is around 55 games. And seeing TD has only been out around 3 weeks...
EDIT: Correction, Forest colony snow is at 63

Beyond that i guess that if you was really serious you would have fronted 15$ for her to get a real mech and used the cadet bonus to get it fitted out. =P

lol sorry $15 for one mech isnt worth it, maybe a GREAT hero mech that would be played forever just for c-bill bonus.
also the basics of the game are fine for playing even as a "beta" it will actually only get MORE complicated as time goes. Just be nice to not have to pilot heat machines into non stop tourmaline

Sale ends soonà
No disagreement that desert plus death trap trial mechs are bad.
Good news: we should get a usable dragon trial soon!

Just pointing out that there are solutions, =)
Edit: Yes the dragon might be a good solution.

The flip side to this, is that people would complain if a new map came out and they kept getting stuck playing older maps.
Really can't make people happy these days...
