Im going to try and bring a little clarity to the madness:
I was in one match where we discovered 2 enemy mechs just standing around, not at their base mind you, walking into walls. So, they had disconnected. After killing the first one, I CTD. After informing my team, 2 others (we were a 4-man using teamspeak) announced that they had also CTD'd at the same time I had. Ergo, your CTD bug is server based issue. That is 5 our of 12 in one match, at least 3 were simultaneous on differing systems. Of the 3 I know of, again my team, were 3 different video cards, not all nvidia or AMD, different processors, some i7 some AMD. So, its related to the GAME, not the user.
Also, someone has posted that the "fractal wars" bug can be reproduced, see above post, by switching from thermal to night vision while alpha striking. Multiple users with different builds reporting so again, not user based issue.
And the neverending match issue. I experienced this bug yesterday 3 times. Ironically, or maybe the cause, in each of those three it was someone in my teamspeak group's first match since the patch....so...that might be something to investigate. MY first match, locked for about 15 min and no exp, another members first match, locked up after final kill, and when another entered and we invited him, 1st match, lock. Again, all different builds with a mix of different components so its not user based.
Very buggy patch, but thermal and night vision are INFINITELY useful and effective now, thanks for that and "pinky" is the sickness! Lovin her. Once we get these bugs outta the way, will be a nice patch. Right now tho, its on the fence...hard to enjoy pinky when shes stuck in neverending matches or im forced to look at my desktop after lining up a shot...
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, thermal and night vision are nice, but shutting off randomly and having to reinitialize them.....not so nice. Usually happened to my whole teamspeak when it happened too so.....
