Ah the artillery/airstrike spamming is finally here, I'm glad I leveled up most of the mechs that really needed it before this.

From the sound of the notes, you need a visual on your base to launch the attacks, so for most maps this is not a problem.

I dunno, seems alright size to me, especially after a 4 day holiday break.

Reworked vision modes.

Hero mech of new type that DOES in fact play music.

Airstrikes and bombing runs.

Trial mech contest winner.

I'm a little concerned about the lack of bug fixes..I am interested in trying out and see the new consumables as well as digital camo....but yeah a little underwhelming...I suppose when you lurk around in the forums all day every day and hear the constant rumors, that once a patch does come out there is very little you didn't already know lol.

Perhaps I'm my own worst enemy

EDIT: I almost forgot, I was one of the peeps who witnessed the new vision modes when they were "accidently" released early...in any case I never got to see how the new nightvision looked like on river city night...so I am excited to see how it works.

No missile fixes, no fixes to hits not registering with missiles/ballistics, no hero camo customization. Bunch of stuff that can be obtained through MC. Pretty lame patch

At 49.5 kph it shall henceforth be known as the "SLOWLANDER".. Easy Target at that speed, just sayin...
Better adjust that loadout quick before running it... :(

Don't forget, they never seem to know what they are patching. Suddenly LRMs may explode on launch or Cicadas may stop taking falling damage.

The possibilities are endless.

Yeah you guys are a tough crowd. The new vision modes alone is a huge and great change.

I just can't believe given their timeline of release, and what we currently have...that they didn't do anything really in this patch.

Honestly they could have removed the vision modes, they are only going to be used on one map now.

What have they been doing for 2 weeks?

Are we really surprised no missile adjustments yet?? - Didn't polling show a greater percentage in favor of the last change or happier with it than the former? They are likely still doing some minor tweaking on their own with it before putting out a final on it (or maybe even leaving it as it is(?)).

Why? What map are you going to use them on besides RC night now?

The only reason thermal was used before hand was it had major benefits. Now they have no benefits over normal vision in 99% of the maps.

Mostly excited about this one, too. Both for my poor eyes not having to look at blue blurs, and what it will do re: range of engagement and (hopefully) poptarting.

I can't wait for the NV mode nerf QQ followed by the Airstrike QQ followed by the Heavy Metal Useless QQ.

The changes are good, but expected, especially since they hotfixed the modes in and out surreptitiously. I am now on the hunt for ninja patch changes.
