Ah ****, no LRM changes. I guess it's PPC stalker for the next month. I can sell my LRMs and use the C-bills on something more useful ^^

For those confused: 60 second timer starts at beginning of match. For those who don't comprehend, this means you can't launch an Air Strike or Artillery Strike for 1 minute after the start of a round. After a team-mate launches either strike a NEW 10-second cool-down timer begins. The real problem will be with coordinated efforts of blanketing escape routes and retreat lines to funnel the enemy into positions which are advantageous for the strikers. Which, excitingly, isn't a problem at all but rather a well played tactic.

But why did we spend time making NEW versions of vision modes for ONE map that no one likes?

Just turn off thermal vision and remove it.

And why is that the biggest thing in this crappy patch?

It requires LOS. Chill. If they're too far out to even SEE cap, you're fine.

I rather agree with you there...although not unplayable, its annoying as hell! the hud bugs that is...

Atleast airstrikes\arty will finally get rid of some of the camping, and\or snipers that stand still - no more happy camping :(

But yeah, underwhelming patch when it comes to bugfixes. Too much new content / MC *bleeeep*'ing

Also, the bloody HUD bugs are killing me at times.
(Well, killing team mates to be precise, since i can't at times see who's friendly or not)

And rest trinkets are under rating.

Summary: tactical situation will drastically change, revamped vision modes will make sniping harder, at least it looks so at first approach. Airstrikes and Artillery strikes... well, we will see. BUT still no ECM fix, there is still no fix for ECM, damn it.

As much as I'd love to have the highlander hero mech.. the left side is just too screwed up. At least we all know what to aim for now, take out the left side and it's borderline useless.

I think at this point I'll save the MC I have left for clan mechs in the future.

The only thing that would get me to spend the MC at this point is a ballistic atlas hero mech.

I truly do not understand why anyone would refrain from purchasing a mech simply because of the base color, especially knowing that we will get the ability to change colors at a later date.

I understand that you don't like the color (I am not crazy about it myself) but IMO, the color of the mech is a non issue. To each their own.

Catapult (what they did last patch doesn't count. I want real quirks not a homogenous blanket nerf)

Assuming new mechs already have quirks.
