Hello. LRMs are supposed to be a deterrent to mechs crossing open ground to fight with close range weapons. In any other MechWarrior game this action would be doom to the close range configured mech.
What happens in MWO right now. I took a mech with BAP, Artemis, 2x LRM20, TAG to Tourmaline Desert. Two other mechs on our team were also configured with significant LRMs. We all fired on a Dragon, 70 kph speed as he crossed 800 meters of open terrain, lit up by TAG the whole way. It arrived at close range with only minor damage. So probably Artemis, TAG LRMx100 or more, and it does nothing.
Anyone who says this is normal in MechWarrior has never played a MechWarrior game before MWO.
Now I know this is Beta and LRMs are probably still "Hot-Fixxed", but what will you do when LRMs start working normally and thousands of players threaten to quit because LRMs no longer bounce harmlessly off their mechs. Just saying, fix LRMs (soon please) and be ready for the, "I quit", chorus.

I got hit by LRMs a lot since the patch, and with the Artemis fix they feel a bit stronger than before the patch

I assume that they're still working on implementing the LRM balance tweaking. It's understandable since the recent LRM hilarity that they'd be pretty hesitant to release something they aren't pretty confident works as intended. It would be nice to hear a dev comment, though.

Lag shield is still active in regards to missiles, I believe?
There was something in the content roadmap about putting in the "rewind" that other weapons have, for missiles. That makes me think that the lag shield is still there.
Combine this with low damage numbers and very small splash radius (I believe it's about 1m, unless the hotfix removed it completely?), and missiles have really been broken down to a mere annoyance (at least on anything that moves faster than 70kph).
