this game is worst in patch handling i guess i rarely seen F2P games with this much B.S. one patch we rejoice finally the X bug got fixed but in time it evovles like virus and come back with more bug features to users. seriously Dev please hire some alpha testers before releasing the patch. and bravo u add new cockpit handing items new camos new x y z stuff that isnt even used by 99% of players please get your head checked what the hell you guys doing. its not the right time for gadgets that we see and feel happy while the game crashes same time.

I would really sugest the Devs to go and get some real tips from other F2P developers most recomended is World of tanks as that game is pretty same as this but million times more stable from Beta and well handeld they never had one bug twice in history of patching.

I only spent money once on this game before realising its not worth yet for money.

Well I agree with some of the first bit, had about 11 new bugs since the most recent patch and it is really frustrating when the stability of the game is compromised for a money making patch.

I think the devs have learned lessons from other F2P games, and MWO is way better than most games out there, so I don't really agree with that.

Definitely an issue with bugs creeping back in, and it does seem to be related to the cosmetic changes, so I can understand the frustration there as well.

Unfortunately I think the devs have realised that they need to release the game soon as people are starting to lose interest and many of us with clans are seeing people give up the game or take a break from the same mundane stuff over and over again, we also have strong core players and we try and organise events and add new levels of play like comp and fun practices etc. but the community does feel like it is shrinking with the huge over supply of F2P games out there, thats why the new content is important as we get a few new people each time and it keeps existing people interested.

There was mention of detecting the polygon bug in testing, so it sounds like some testing was done, but tbh with 11 bugs and crashes to desktop coming back, the stability of the client has taken several steps back now, when it needs to be moving forward to help the community grow.

I do hope the devs will either recognise the need to do more closed beta testing on new patches, (I think we are way beyond Alpha testing, maybe a seperate client with different logins and more volunteers to test it) or roll back the existing patch however bad the monetary consequences and fix the stability before jumping in with a half assed patch that gives short term cash flow at the expense of long term player base.

We urgently need another kickass patch like was done in December to restore stability on the client, before too many people give up on the game altogether.

My optimism is borne from being a developer myself and having set my expectations accordingly from the outset of the game. :D As far as numbers decreasing, Teamspeak isn't a good bar to measure against as there are multiple TS servers, and a number of units, including my own, now maintain their own voice servers.

Either way, while I'm glad to hear that you are willing to stick it out, perhaps a step away might be in order? If you're at a point where you feel that you're 'sticking something out' then you're either already burnt out or on the precipice of doing so. Stepping away and taking a break for a month of two would give you the benefit of looking at a much more complete product and not have to potentially deal with frustrating defects. Progress in software development is always easier to see over the course of 6 months chunks vs 2 week segments. Taking a break would allow you to see more of this and might give you a renewed interest in the game as opposed to just 'sticking it out'. :)

I'm a developer myself and I don't think I would be allowed to have the same bug persist for 6 months (HUD) on an active in use program. Bugs are hard to reproduce and fix if you don't spend the effort required to do so or if your tools and setup is so poor that you can't do so quickly.
People here aren't complaining as much about new bugs thanks to new featuers, but old bugs that persist and get amplified in the newer patches. The last two patches have caused everyone to crash more and the annoyance levels among the people I drop with is pretty high.

Now think about a new player dropping and experiencing a couple of bugs in his/her first few drops. Far more frustrating for them and easier to ignore as they haven't yet grown to understand and love the depth in the BT universe and MWO as well.

$2 ROFLMAO didnt think the american economy was that much in trouble if 2$ is an amount u feel like u need to moan about

You completely and totally missed the point. I apologize for not being clear enough for you. It has nothing to do with the American economy; that's some fantastic non sequitor you've got there. It has to do with the fact that the $2 (ROLFMAO...snore) is beans to them (and to me, and I suspect to anyone) but would have been one heck of a token of good faith. I don't really care about the two dollars, but the way in which they handled my request.

And really, what's wrong with getting what you've paid for? If you went to a fast food restaurant and got a burger that was messed up, a burger that costs a mere two dollars (I don't know what burgers cost in Denmark; haven't been there in a while), you'd go to the counter and ask for an exchange. They'd give it to you, most likely. They wouldn't tell you that it's your taste buds that are messed up, but if they determine that the burger is bad and they change their policy, they'll issue a global refund (that's what PGI did). I think it's our right as customers to ask for redress. I didn't demand anything. I didn't "moan" about anything to them. I gave them the information they asked for in order to better fix the problem, and said, "by the way, I'd like it if I could get my 250 MC back 'cause that's a whole day of premium time." Yeah, sure. In Denmark, maybe you're 250 is nothing, but to me, it's 24 hours of premium time.

I'm sorry you disagree. Try not to roll on the floor too hard and hurt yourself.

I agree with you, but I dunno. The LSD trip polygon bug seems pretty game ending to me. I'm not a founder (I would have been had I known about the game in time), but I've spent a couple hundred bucks on the game thus far so I hope my feedback is valued. I can't play it right now, at all. And right before the match I got one day's worth of premium time. I'm assuming that they won't refund those 250 MC. Updating drivers doesn't seem to fix this issue, at least not universally. It didn't work with me. And the patch created more bugs that shouldn't have any thing to do with video card drivers.

I know this is F2P, but a lot of people drop some loot on it. I love all the neat features they've recently included, but I'd honestly rather see a no kidding patch that addresses some of these bugs first. As far as I'm concerned, this patch broke the game. Others don't see it that way, no doubt, but for me, the patch broke the game. Patches aren't supposed to do that. They're supposed to, you know, patch things.

I feel exactly the same way. I spent money over the weekend and now I am feeling frustrated. I sent a note to support today because its now unplayable for me after a complete reinstall and driver update.

Patch runs great on my end, no joke. Most of this thread is complaining about patches rather than trying to offer info to help fix it.

I volunteer to offer some programming time in my sparetime, just to help out fixing bugs, cause the count of bugs just raised.
I have never been kicked out of game so often, not even speaking of the client, been stuck at the end of the round or the map-errors.

are you suggesting us how to fix the game bugs we can only provide workarounds and players have done so thanks to you :) but this game is not open source that we actually can fix the damn thing from the core. however before launching the patch there can be a test server running separate on same accounts which can run for 2 weeks for anyone to join and give the feedback before ruining all the community who don't tolerate bugs any more for so long no one mind if the patch comes a week or 2 weeks late if it is bug free
here is a example of another F2P patching style and patch note for public test sever just so we can have idea where others stand
