Low ping. Atlas, spider, just doesn't matter. I get warping and rubber banding, but not as bad as pre Open Beta.

All of this plus time-travelling PPC shots. Just played a game where I would shoot my PPCs and all that happened was the recharge timer would work, but no sound effects, no heat generated no PPC shot, UNTIL 2-3 minutes later. So shoot now, shot+heat+sound appears minutes later.

Yes I've been teleported. And it got be killed within seconds like I had no armour.

well..since the last patch i've got something really funny:
sometimes everybody moves ...i try to target someone with r..nothing happens..shoot someone...again nothing--> after some time (up to more than two minutes) i teleport somewhere on the map (one time from one base on alpine to the other)...
happens every match

p.s. ping, settings, everything else is still the same... ohh yeah: i can still see when someone get's killed (i suspect i can see the real movement/action, since whenever someone dies on my screen that little notification pops up)

As the others warping in game round about every now and then (20-60 seconds). It started today after the hotfix.
Count me in as a victim.

I've only experienced this bug since the April 2nd patch, after which my ping more than doubled (from low 40's to low 100's). Any mech, any speed, any map. Everything from teleporting, rubber-banding, to crazy lag (3-4 seconds delay) with a steady ping. Tried resetting my router, getting my ISP to reset it from their end, no fix. Played SWTOR with normal ping (60ms). Any ideas?

It's a network problem. Have the same teleporting today and last half an hour was a complete inability to even shoot or target in game.

Could you please tell me how you did that? I know how to do a trace route. But I do not know how to measure the level of packet loss at various points along the way. Thank you

i wanna add my 2 cents to this:

up until approx 2 hours ago everything was fine. i was playing some games with my buddy and everything was nice and fluffy. then suddenly the client seemed to have problems, updating the mechs status at the mech bay, when starting a new match it took me 20 more seconds to start up my mech (animation, everyone was running around at this point, just me stiull starting up my mech) and horrendously bad rubberbanding and warping occured.

it went from just fine to unplayable within one match. i shut down mwo and started a speed and ping test, everything is just fine and as it should be. skype wasnt laggy at all, streaming works as it shouldm, just mwo is laggy as hell.

my average ping under normal conditions ist abot 110 to 120, very stable. now it ranges from 140 to 200 and up.

again, it did not happen to me from one patch (hotfix) to the other. it went from one game to the other in the middle of the fight.
very odd.

perhaps one of pgis serverfarms went poof? dunno, my buddy has zero problems. we are both using the same ISP in the same city.

It's an output of 'mtr' program for linux.

For windows you can use default command line program 'pathping' (win7+, not sure about vista) for similar results. Just wait for the final output (it can take some minutes).

same here. small desynxs that lead to instant changes of alingment and/or position when client "catch up" with server. It seems that on rough terrain is worse than on flat ground. sometime session get lost inthe process.

I am also getting serious rubber banding issues. I see a mech, i goto fire and then i am facing a building letting my shots go into it instead of the enemy. Try to make quick turns to avoid enemy fire i end up pointed at and running straight into a building and get my rear shot off.

Also had several crashes right as i loaded into game with the error "Unexpected file size of 128 from a 0 byte file".

Also have serious delay on fireing my weapons, i aim, fire, and have to sit there and wait while holding my reticle over where i want the shot to go until it fires 2-5 seconds later.

I'm in NY, USA and i have 0 internet issues with any other game i play, it is only MWO.

Got my new video card last night so started playing my spider. First 10 games or so was fine then started rubber banding bad. It seem tied into when people would hit the R key litterally on the other side.

new card is 650 ti boost with 2 gig ram
windows 7 OS 64 bit
3.1 ghz core I 3 second generation
10 gig ram ddr 3
ssd hard drive kingston with sata 6gbs connection to mother board
MSI motherboard

I am not sure why the first ten games were awesome. I was not indestructible in those games I was simply able to use terrain and fast speed to dart in out combat confusing the enemy.

Additionally I am seeing people who do not miss ever on the battlefield that needs to be looked into and fixed as well.

All these people are not having the same problem all over the world because it's an ISP issue. I too am having this problem, and it occurres at any speed. I just reinstalled the game completely and no change. I have two computers in my network that are used to play Mechwarrior on different accounts. My account has the issue on both PC's. I can log in on either computer with my kids account and no problems. I find this strange. My ping on this account before the patch was around 93 and since the patch has jumped around from 90 to 250 while in game, and a lot of "warping", making it unplayable most of the time. Use the other account at the same time from the same home network and it hold steady in the 90's with no issues.

I just started getting this problem today, so i dont think its the patch.

But the game is basically unplayable right now, though yesterday I was fine.

I suppose it could be server load at my ISP being a weekend and all, but seeing as others have been haveing the same issue at different times of the day, I'd say something else is going on

I am experiencing this "rubberbanding/teleporting" issue but only in minor jerks. My ping is usually around 45. I have 50 megs down and 5 megs up.

Yup rubberbanding ,delayed shots and warping since last patch.the game has almost become unplayable for me now.looks like the bonus for founders mechs and hero mechs gonna be a total bust for me this weekend.I hope they fix the issues and extend the special for a bit.
