Just tried again for the first time today. One minute into the game: teleporting into a building followed by "This session was lost" This is ******* ******* me off ;)

edit: 3 more games, session lost each time. I am gonna go play hawken (which i don't even like) because I do not have any lag at all there. PGI pay attention.

My ping typically runs 35 - 65. When I start teleporting, it shows in the 80 - 100 range. I tend to think it's on my side since it have troubles getting or holding lock-on right before a jump. But my connection is fine and my PC is very well built, so i don't know where the problem is coming in. Oh, and it seems to appear on hot maps a little more often than cold.

The best one I've seen twice with the Heavy Metal Teleporting from spot to spot through out the battle, two different Heavy Metals in two separate battles and both times the pilot claimed to be standing in one spot moving slightly left/right or forward/back. Yet he was teleporting 100m in the direction of the fight, never behind a building or hill though.

I haven't noticed any difference on hot to cold maps. My ping jumps around and I start warping. I can play any other game I own and no issues whatsoever. It is definately patch or server side issues. I first noticed it with the patch on Tuesday, then Friday I patched again and it was just as bad or worse. I completely deleted the game (registry and all) and reinstalled it. That fixed nothing. So don't waste your time doing a reinstall. Just have to wait till they patch the thing.

Had it Tues and Wed, then got better. Now back today and game unplayable. Mech teleports back to where it was 60 seconds ago. 5 sec lag on hitting "R" and on firing ballistics.

Same here - +5 sec lag between changing vision/modes/zoom. Plus multi second lag when firing weapons.

Teleporting/warping/resetting to previous position from a few seconds ago.

Totally unplayable.

same. normal 40 ping; when it starts to jump up to 100, I get the warping, lag on "R", shots, and sudden warp backs.

Out of all the issues of the last patch, this is by far the worst one. Yet they have not even acknowledged it. Probably because they can just try to blame people's ISP (which you cannot do when your mech is having rainbow LSD trips). Sadness

Died "out of bounds" and the animation showed me dieing in middle of map!

2 games fine; then 2 borked

yup im experiencing this issue as well with 10-50ms pings. its happened to me in a variety of mechs, most noticeably in light mechs though. ive even been forced to lag shoot/lead targets with lasers to get hits. firing gauss/ppc from my atlas has been delayed by up to 2 seconds from when i pull the trigger.

I occasionally have a timefreeze followed by a 400m teleport with much poorer health, but very rarely. More common is when a teammate/enemy walks in to me, after which it's a guaranteed 3 second long rubberbanding session.

What was more fun was yesterday night when our base was capped by a ghost, probably because the player capping it had already left, but the server still thinks he's there. The only way to stop it was to move our own mechs on it, which split our force and left us very dead.

This "teleporting" doesn't have any particular rhyme or reason to it, so I cannot say it's benefiting any particular group of mech or players.

Love the game,and love the new content,but also teleporting like a member of the USS Enterprise.

Living in South Africa,and unfortunatly my ping is pretty bad,but never teleported ever before,even during closed beta

Its rare, but I have experienced this too and some of our unit have as well. One guy got teleported back to base :S

I and two of my friends have this problem. Consistently. Both of them have had it since the heavy metal patch a couple weeks back. And so have I but with last week's patch it is many times worse. On top of the HUD errors I now get almost every other game (no minimap, bugged minimap, throttle bar goes out of the bar itself, etc, etc, nothing is the same twice) the game is basically not worth playing.

Updated my drivers and reinstalled the game, no change.

Happens to me constantly - making the game unplayable.

If it's not fixed next Tuesday, I'll drop MWO in favour of a game which actually lets me play. My premium time is finished (although I couldn't actually use the last 2 weeks of it), so there's nothing to keep me here. In the meantime, there are other things to play with rather than constantly wonder if MWO will work on any given drop. :rolleyes:

I am having similar issue. Warping in random directions, distances usually not big; different maps or mechs or speed does not make a difference.
Was not experiencing this before patch.
