Game utterly broken and unenjoyable. Guess I should be thankful I'm not on premium time, I'd be PISSED.

Im getting the same issues, tried multiple internet connections thanks to the wonder of wifi as well as different pcs, definetly a server side issue, im use to lag as im australian, but cant play like this when i cant even target players or do damage and cant even run at full speed, as 3 of my mechs are 140+kmph mechs keep rubberbanding back and getting owned and one game i was shooting, saw my missles and lasers hitting but had 0 damage.

I am a little upset as im on premium time but i do love the game. Just miss playing it, nothing like being in a light mech being chased by a team. How else will i get my jollies ^^ may have to actually go to that place people keep talking about, outside through that thing called a door and do something in the thing they call sunshine.

I am on premium time, and I am pissed. Its come on slowly since the patch. I would get the occasional rubber band match but could always play through it. Today, I played 3 matches and all had unbearable rubber-banding in every one. My ping is stable at ~100ms. I am on a comcast 50mbit connection. AMD phenom II x4 965 quad core 3.4ghz, 8 gig ram, gtx660ti (also tried on my crossfire 5770 system). I run stable at 50-60 fps at very high. Here is a video of my third and final match of today. No tricks, no editing, no fraps lagging, you see exactly what I saw. TOTAL BS!

I'm glad someone finally posted a video. I wish I had the knowledge/software to make a video because I think this really highlights exactly the problem we're all having. Maybe now it will get some attention from the developers?

I've been experiencing the exact same issue (on top of all the normal jacked-up HUD errors). It seems to be worse the higher the speed of the mech I am in, its terribad when I try to play one of my Spider variants. It also seems to act up more the closer I am to enemy mechs. I would have to agree with a few of the earlier posters that maybe it has something to do with the server side hit detection rollback gizmo. Either way its frustrating, and hopefully it gets fixed before they add an additional mechanic for ballistics which just screws it up more.

I have a couple of friend who are plagued by this... Luckily I have had no rubberbanding, just all those map/indactor bugs.

Yeah I just had it really really badly. So bad that I would fire my gauss rifle and 35 seconds later it would actually fire.

Played some good games last night. Now its back so its about 50% since patch. We need the ability to be able to pause premium time until the game is stable.

It seemed that these issues began for me in the last patch as well. Started out maybe 50% of matches, I'd have slight rubberbanding, and slight lag with ballistic weapons as well as a zoom lag. Now it is utterly unplayable. No longer any rubberbanding, but instead, my mech will not actually be where it appears to be for me.

Example:
Game starts, I stay with the group. My friend will tell me to hurry up, because to him, I'm still at spawn. But really, several minutes of game time have elapsed, and in my view, I'm standing right next to him. If I fire lasers at him, no hits will register. I've stood on uncapped points to no affect either.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've updated drivers and windows. I've even tried running as an administrator, as a different thread has suggested.

Same here for me, horrible delays, fire not registering, sometimes up to 30 sec delay of button press --> event ( i.e. switching visual modes)

And all this while iam under 120 ping ( from europe) with 60 FPS --> issuded a support ticket, asking for premium suspension until problem fixed.

Got the standard answer to send in logs and stuff and nettrace and so son.
No word about like: "Hey, we suspended your premium time until we can resolve your support ticket"

BAH!

They once told it would be irresponsible of them to act as an undo button for players. Yet there job is supposed to be fixing things, hence undoing some things.

From emails they sent me:

Quote

"It would be illogical and irresponsible of us to behave like an "undo" button for our players. While we do assist in some specific circumstances, this is not one of them."

"We understand that mistakes can happen, however we can only provide limited assistance for this - if we start "undoing" every mistake, we will drive the business into the ground, as I'm sure you can imagine. I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

The responsible thing here would be to freeze your premium time. I wouldn't count on that as it would force them to do work. They seem really eager to help when it's a bug that might break the game and cost them money, but not when it costs you money.

Expect something along the lines of:

Quote

The Terms of Use to which you agreed when you created your account covers this completely. We have no obligation to make our internal policies open to the public.

After they tell you it's some internal policy that they can't help you. But you never know, personally they already got $110 of my money and until they get better customer service they won't get a cent more.

My personal dealings with them on this issue yielded no solution, just an open ended email that said basicly the problem hasn't been solved, we have no idea why it is happening, but we will log it and hope it goes away. More then likely they are going to blame your location and say something about EU servers forth coming. Here's what I got back after doing all their tests:

Quote

The issue you submitted has been added to our database and forwarded to the development team so they are aware of it.

Please note that unless we require more information, this ticket will be closed as soon as the information is logged in the bug database. This does not mean that the issue is considered resolved however, only that this particular support ticket has completed its task for now.

Having same issue after taking a 3 month break of pc gaming. Never had issues before. Like how the game is devolving overall however this is a pretty significant bug atm.

I have not had a single round since yesterday that hasn't had this issue. At the time of writing this, I literally joined a round and was told by a partner I'd joined with that I was not walking forward like I saw myself, but rather backpeddalling out of bounds. As I was running up towards the volcano, I saw "OUT OF BOUNDS 10" flash across my screen, then I was booted to login saying "Session was lost."

Every round before that one has been a rubber-banding mess where any action has taken 5 seconds or more to do anything and I warp into random places on the map, unable to zoom, where rounds fired do 0 damage to anything as though they weren't even touched.

Extreme Lag Issues, Cannot Zoom, Change Vision Modes.

I've managed to start a match and my computer is all over the map shooting things on my screen meanwhile my fellow mechwarriors are laughing at me because my mech's zombie walking into a mountain side, and killing it very effectively, This is going to really be a problem.

Just got out of a match where I was rubber banding like crazy. But the whole weekend I never saw this once. I also had a crash shortly after, with no error or warning. Like the program was closed, except I didn't.

Might be an isolated thing.
