I don't count Twitter as "Official PR" or official anything for that matter.

And blind faith is not something I like to go on, at ANY point in time. I'm not expecting a "Here is exactly how we plan to implement CW", but I expect something at least semi-solid to go off of. Even a "here is what we're considering" is better then vague twitter posts.

Heck, a "we're tinkering around with it, but quite honestly its taking time and we're still not sure" is better then vague twitter posts.

What you guys are asking for "oh, don't worry wait and see" is no longer appropriate after the interview; there HAS to be a response to it. I'm all for waiting and seeing, and I'm excited for how it could turn out; but do NOT bring up a hot topic and then simply push the boat down the river.

Oh, FFS, can we forget about the article and Twitter crap? We have already had 150 pages of that.

Can we agree on the subject that we deserve information about CW from the horses mouth, in a clear and distinct fashion?

And crap or not, an interview is an official method of PR and should be taken seriously by anyone with half a brain...even if its IS reported incorrectly (and if so, release an OFFICIAL PR about it! NOT twitter!).

I will take a twitter post from the devs over some half assed interview any day of the week, and its not an official release if the guy writing the article is blatantly wrong and refuses to show his source material.
And you got an official interview from bryan, unedited and free of the bias and misinformation that went into the polygon interview, so why are you still asking for something you have already gotten?

I am assuming that most of the people putting this off as no big deal are not in an very active merc corp and only have interest in playing in house warfare or lone wolf. I think those who are part of merc units want a firm answer on what is going to happen with CW.

Blatantly wrong by who's standards? I haven't seen or heard anything to directly contest what the article stated.

A lengthy Command Chair post full of pictures and many, many words. I mean, it is one of the pillars the game is based on, and the information on it is fairly lackluster.

The issue you have is fabricated by incorrect information presented by a pisspoor or possibly malicious author. You refuse to understand that information comes from many places, not just the places you think it should come from. I like how you think ignoring what you dont want to have to deal with is "logic". Ah, so you want them to tell you precisely what it is NOW, rather than wait for them to release it. Well, I have bad news. Thats not gonna happen. And its not going to happen because A: if the slightest thing changed people would scream pgi lied. B: Its going to be a major announcement and they want that buzz to happen when it comes out, not two months before, so as to interest people when they can actually have it, not be told all this stuff is coming and then they wander away because it took awhile to come out. Its simply a bad move marketing wise to give you all the details now.

ITs coming out in phases and they are already talking about it on twitter and in several interviews at GDC. Phase 1 is next month so wtf are you on about white knights? Obviously though they are backsliding like they have on so many other issues. The truth is THEY don't know yet.

Honestly, the way this community has proven to react to things? I don't blame PGI a damn bit for keeping things under the table. I wouldn't want to put something out there as a possibility, then have something come along to shift the course of development and have to do a rework or a rethink of it and have the community absolutely explode into a venomous outrage at the drop of a friggin' hat. Even if it doesn't make that damn big of a difference, if it makes one at all, people in the MWO community seem to absolutely look for reasons to burst into a seething, frothing at the mouth "O M G THE DEVS R INCOMPETENT AND STUPID AND DUMB AND FFFFUUUUUU A FOUR YEAR OLD COULD DO BETTER" neckbeard rant.

I'm going to sit back, be patient, wait, and see what they decide to release in their official response to the community instead of jumping up and down, throwing a tantrum and demanding to have answers like an entitled child.

If the article was misstated and correct, why doesn't PGI come out and at least say that? I don't think people are looking for spreadsheets here, just the general direction of whether and how CW is going to require ongoing financial commitment or not.

The second issue people are having is that PGI stated they would clarify soon, and now it seems that they won't. People waited as per PGI's announced intention, and now the intentions have changed. That, to many, seems like they're hiding something because they aren't doing anything to correct incorrect information.
