My favorite JM6 build is the A.

300XL (82.2 with speed tweak).
Endo
16 DHS
384 armor (Full armor except 41 in the legs).
2LL
2-SRM6 w/artemis
2-SRM4 w/artemis

4 tons of SRM ammo.
If I run out of ammo I'm usually at or near 700 damage.

I go with a JM6-A 2X UAC5, 4X SSRM2, 2X ML, XL295. I find the larger engine rating is necessary for aiming, which improves survivability. Also, I have the UAC's on a macro to never jam while firing every 1.10 seconds. This thing eats dual AC20's for breakfast (~100 damage, mostly to the CT, before they get their second AC40 shot off). It has problems with ECM lights, but it's not designed to go it alone against them. DDC's are actually its biggest problem because it can't get the streaks involved, and without those, it just doesn't have the necessary output. It can take on just about any other assaults 1v1 though.

And to prove its effectiveness, in 18 games, I've got 14 wins, 4 losses, 31 kills, 6 deaths, and ~470 damage per game...leveling it through basic (and a little beyond)

That's all solo pugging in a decent bracket (my heavy record is 33 wins, 17 losses: this wasn't my first heavy).


I used to play the 3L in its heyday, and this thing is much more OP than that ever was...mostly because I'm a more skilled/strategic player now.

Mine is very similar to Spheroid's, but has regular mediums and artemis. It's like a junior DDC brawler lol.

JM6-S Rifleman 3N max amour with a 300Xl Its basicly the Rifleman 3N loadout with better cooling and speed. She can run a little warm if you have to use the lasers too much. She can handle close range work but its advisable not to She still will not hold under sustained fire. The Autocannons at close range should be much better next week with the HSR for AC and machineguns.

I ran a similar build sans the XL and medium lasers. I think I used the standard 260 engine that came with the mechn.

Also I have named my Jager-S Rifleman and my Jager-A Phalanx because to heck with Harmony Gold!
