I mean, yeah, its a "missile launcher hardpoint". whilst it was no problem to just put an SRM2 in the Raven-3L, to use the Narc-1-tube.. (if you ever want a battefield to cry, a LRM 10/15 Raven sputters out a trail of single missiles, definitely exhausting AMS stores faster)

Anyway... it became quite comical to use 3 SRL-6 on a TBT-7M.. the Arm- and Right torso send out 1 wave of missiles. whilst the 1-Tube rattles out a stream of 6x 1...

So what to do with the missile hardpoint that isnt really one.. use SRM2`s only?

I put SEEMs in mine. It gives you a high hit chance weapon against highly mobile mechs without ECM. It isn't much, but it is something.

Turn it into a missile machine gun with an LRM20 because lulz.

Besides using it for NARC? I'll sometimes put a small(er) SRM (2 or 4) in there and use it like an up close direct fire SRM MG. If you can keep the target lined up right, it's a great way to do a nasty surgical strike on a weakened area.

I tried that once with a LRM10 on a Raven. till i was one of the last men standing and had my own pug side BEG the others to kill that "heavy slur words" LRM Raven... and thanking them afterwards.. i hate Pugs sometimes.

ya, 5 or less missels do fine. An LRM 10-20 is laughable, and an SRM6 is just dumb. the wepons dont start recycling till they finish firing. your DPS drops with anything over 5.

I threw an LRM-15 in my Trebuchet's NARC tube once just to see how it'd go and to troll people. Shot it at a mech with AMS and every single missile got shot down. lol

I haven't had the joy of having a mech that has such a tube. A Streak would make sense, but the SRM6 machine gun would be fun.

Maybe when MRMs come out I could use an MRM40...

Triple LRM 10 on my Treb 7M and it's amusing. It does make some people head for cover due to the continual "MISSILE INCOMING" warning. Sometimes it actually causes people to charge me cause they want to take me out. Use this to my advantage by separating them from their main group and towards my heavy hitters. And not everyone is using AMS so it can work well against mechs without AMS.

Streak 2s, Lrm AMS waster and annoyance, SRMs if you are good at aiming, or actually use Narc. Those are your options.
