Yeah. Not much else to it. Though I'd really like to see:

0) Break down of popular mechs and variants.
1) How often matches are different in tonnage and to what extend.
2) Correlation between tonnage difference and match results
3) How often matches are different in ecm.
4) Correlation between ecm difference and and match results.

Great. It's probably something to do with the image size, since you put all 10 screens in a single image. I'll review it tomorrow. Too late to finish now. Though I'll leave you guys a teaser from what I have up til now.

Are my only remaining results to do left. If anyone else wants to submit their screens I'll allow 5 more submissions for an even 20 (200!!!) rounds, and 3000 mechs tagged and bagged.

D-DC has been toppled as the most played mech (this weekend).

Ilya followed immediately by the HM took the crowns (and together had a greater number than all lights combined), with 2 more Ilya's than HMs. Which is pretty surprising.

Other random notes before I head to sleep. A1s are sad, so sad, compared to previous results. The biggest gap in weight was 135 point swing (and the heavier team lost), 2nd was a 130. ECM numbers compared to previous data collection has tanked nearly 6%. Raven numbers are still dropping since the first collection. Awesome numbers are way up (but only for the 8Q and the Pretty Baby)

I'll also have each persons designation and raw data in chart form seperate from the results.

Gotta say, I'm not surprised about the Ilya coming first in numbers this weekend. I saw a whole lot of them out there and being released just longs enough after the Cataphract's release that people knew they wanted a bit more, there was a lot of hype and acclaim when that one came out. They were just dusty from being parked for so long.
Other than that I am just a little surprised about the numbers on the Heavy Metal. Just goes to show all of the people bemoaning its price, exclusivity to the model, etc, were just very vocal. That thing is selling in volume.

And here is another batch. This time the Jenner. Another mech I haven't played much since elo was implemented.

The difference is really noticeable, teams have trouble sticking together and focusing fire.

Just to let you know I'm still working on this, I have lance, clanners and Hausers third set of data remaining, but I have an announcement.

After a grand total of 1845 mechs tabulated, we have found our FIRST CICADA 2B!!!!

I leave you all with the current results:



Heavy Metals have surpassed and broken away from the Ilyas to claim grand champion mech of poptarting.

Atlas Ds are also more present than the dreaded D-DC, though this is probably almost exclusively due to the founders (Atlas D (F) is almost matched with D-DCs).

Average weight difference per match is about a spider.

I don't generally do any of those things, but if you're really that interested in the raw data (I'll be posting screens like the above for every single persons raw data) if you send me a PM with your email I can easily email you all of it, or if you know a good file host to put a zip file in I can take a look at that.

Very interesting so far. I'm not surprised to see that the 4P hunch has reclaimed the title of most popular HBK, an honor it hasn't had since the engine caps were put in place. But given how bad the ballistic and missile options are, coupled with HSR only working lasers, I've been seeing a lot of them.
