now that we've shut down pgi's subscription model plan, watch for them to cash in on every little thing like the iconic shoulder spikes, "Ability to Customize Actual Mech Model itself (Alternate Heads, Shoulders, etc.)"

was already said it will be coming. You will be able to swap heads and the like with your atlas ect. Also a Soon™ is the different laser manufacturers. Like different colored and named Large Lasers, there all the same LL but they might have different emitters ect to change there color, but in all other aspects, there the same gun.

Yeah, there's one with 2x PPCs, 4x ML, and it comes stock with DHS.
It'll immediately be turned into a 45ton poptart junior due to the 4 .5ton jumpjets and high-mounted energy arms.
I imagine that will be the most common one to see.

Unfortunately it'll still be a 45ton mech with the same maximum speed as a hunchback...
