You can tell me the bugs are beta. You can tell me the price is fair because people are paying it.

The fact is the Beta excuse would be one thing if we received a bonus for our "work". or if prices were lower. But the prices thing just shows with a fabulous franchise like this you can gauge hard core fans for a period of time. I do not think they are working a formula for continued success or mass appeal. I think they are just trying to milk us nerds for whatever they can.

I play as many games a day as I can play before it bugs, then I switch games. Other beta games have the same rule, they just do not bug out in the same way. This is the highest price game I am playing and the worst performing.

Those cockpit items and paintjobs must give a distinct advantage.

Stop those complainings please. If you dont like MWO right now so leave and come back to version 1.0.
The only overpriced things are the colours but its not even nessecary to pay money for the game.
Please make constructive cretics or none.

You can give me logical arguments. You can point out to me (rightly) that the game itself is completely free, and that any "premium" items are purely optional.

But I'm going to keep whining and complaining, and since I'm still complaining about the high cost (???), I guess I'm still paying it?

Tried to fix it for you, but honestly, the post is so broken, I think you should just throw it out and try again...

How many of this exact thread can you create in one week?

I'm torn between using the voice of the Count from Sesame Street and Mr. Owl from the Tootsiepop commercials.

1...2....3....4... 5, 5 redundant threads, HA HA HA

I went with the Count

To those of you that constantly scream....'if you don't like it get the **** out'

Just curious as to why it bothers you so much when people voice their displeasure with this product. You can't seriously not see all the problems with the game can you? You can't honestly believe that a good portion of us that have been waiting patiently for 10+ years for another MW title don't have a good reason to be upset with the product we have been given after such a long wait?

If you like the crap product....fine go play it. If they don't want negative feedback they can...

A. Quit releasing god awful patches that break the game for a good portion of the playerbase
B. Close the forums down
C. Have their PR guy stop trolling the forums
D. Have a clue how to balance the game
E. Not promise fixes and then just ignore them and hope that everyone forgets (I'm looking at you ECM)
F. I could go on forever but I have to get back to stronghold kingdoms before I lose my castle.

There is a significant difference between constructive criticism and incessant whining.

While there are always overreactions (on all sides of an issue) in general, constructive criticism is handled quite well by most players. If you have a gripe with the game, and there are lots of legitimate complaints, express them in a rational manner, show some foresight and willingness to engage in a reasonable discussion and you will find a lot more people willing to post about it.

Whine like a spoiled child with little or no experience in the real world and you get shown the door.

"Work"
???

This is a voluntary act. They let you play the game early, you help find bugs. That's the trade off. You enjoy the game and see past the bugs? They've allowed you to get a head start with MC and invest in buying premium time while you test, and other novelty items to keep you entertained. The prices now are what you will see after release.

For the most part I'm ok, except we aren't beta testers and us founders were not either.
But MC i do have problems with, the dollar to MC isn't good for me. If it was 10k MC to 10$-20$ I'd get into that.
To buy a highlander its +30 bucks? that's 2 months of playing time for wow or some other subscription game, for 1 mech?
I would never have paid the legendary founders price if I had know we would not get monthly MC, I was under the impression we would lol.

If you don't want the stuff don't buy it..... So far none of the hero mechs has really given any kind of advantage at all. By not purchasing that's your way of voting the price is to high. I really would like a PB and HM but their cost is too high so I just wait for a sale or don't buy them. That's the ease of a FTP game that's not pay to win, you can buy it if you feel like it.

I think 7 dollars for a beer at the sports bar is ridiculous, so I just don't burn my money there. I don't sit outside the bar and complain about the prices to people walking in. If they have a promotion or a happy hour then I show up. If no one came in and bought beer during primetime they would be forced to lower their prices, but people pack the place so it will remain 7 bucks.

Trial mechs are viable for what they are intended to do... That is give you a way to always make a little bit of money without using real cash.

They are not designed to be the end all be all mechs. That is what you get CBills for.

I am sorry a FREE to play game has you down and you think the prices are to high.

I would like to say people like me carry your broke ***** burden by buying Hero Mechs, paints and camos. Now one could argue if the MC cost was a little cheaper that more would buy however they want the whales.

So again maybe you should thank those that pay your way instead of ***** about on the forums?
