I am using 20 inch laptop 4gb ram I7 core win 7 home premium ATI mobility radeon hd 5730 1gb graphics and the hud/maping bugs are much more common now since last two patches. I can only play up to three matches in a row becouse of laptop heat ishues but no map, non rotating, no hud, and not frend or foe is problematic

and depending on dps from conection two much ruberbanding above 120 kps

Every other match I suffer from one bug or another. Problem is the bugs are game breaking in terms of hugely impacting battlefield effectiveness.

Kaleidoscope Screen
Black/missing mini-map
Non-rotating mini-map
Technocolor mini-map
No Friend or Foe Detection

At least one of the above bugs in a bare minimum estimate of 70% of all matches.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had all of these after the patch on Tue. But after the fix on friday I only get the missing mini map. The other problems have gone (knock on fake wooden desk).

I get it perhaps once every 20 or so games. I do hear people in game complaining about it a lot though.

the common ones I get all the time are no HUD or no FF tags, black/broken Mini map/battle map, and most often the cursor stuck ingame. system specs: Fx8150 @ 4.5ghz, Asus ROG- formula V mobo, 16gb G.Skill DDR3 1866, gtx580 w/ 314.22 drivers and 64bit win-7 Ultimate

I have posted a thread of all the bugs in a nice collection, humor included. They pulled it to the least visited thread list.

Check it. http://mwomercs.com/...or-bug-removal/

Since the last patch, I have gotten:

- No / Rainbow HUD

- No Friend / Foe identification

- CTD (crash to desktop)

- Unstable FPS on Forest Colony and Caustic

- AC/20 shots doing no damage to lights (even though they register a hit)

- Unstable Ping / Lag

- Night vision is disabled intermittently

My computer exceeds the recommended specs and all my drivers are current.

If by "rubberbanding" you mean bouncing around ahead, behind, like teleporting I have had this start happening since the last patch and it has gotten worse since the hotfix. I thought at first it was on my end, my machine isnt the greatest, but it normally runs at least decently. So I updated my vid card drivers, restarted my machine, restarted my modem. Still getting it. I thought maybe it was the result of my pregonant wife spilling something on my keyboard (unlikely but hey I have heard odder things) so I came to the forums to begin....the search of a million words. I am glad the bouncing around issues arent just me. I have noticed however it seems to become better or worse depending on the relative speed of the mech you are driving. When I drive my X-5, 330xl, speed tweak @147kph I bounce around ALOT. When I drive my HBK-4sp, std 260 84 kph I dont go as far, but I still do. And forget the srm's or ssrms. Those are damm near immposible to target with the delay.

I was hoping to do a bunch of grinding c-bills this weekend with the X-5......I will try again later tonight and see if it is a bad connection on my end, but.....

I believe, technically, rubberbanding is when your mech gets stuck against something and constantly jerks back in time about one second over and over again as the client and server argue over where the mech is in relation to the object it's stuck against. This has actually lessened (improved) for me in the last couple patches. It is a collision issue at its heart.

What has continued to get worse in the last few patches, though, is warpinig. Warping is when suddenly you notice all the other mechs in the match are walking in place, not actually moving anywhere while their feet are still animating like they're walking. You can keep moving around and firing your weapons and everything, but eventually when the server catches up, you will find yourself in a wholly different place on the map than where you were just a moment ago, sometimes with significant damage from combat that took place that you never saw. That's generally called warping, and it's extremely frustrating. It's a network or netcode issue at heart.

Unless there is a problem with my Provider, & a friend's at the moment, I can say with absolute certainty that gameplay is without a doubt "NOT" worth wasting the time to log in for, and that's the "FIRST" time I have ever said this about MWO!

Rubberbanding, shots indicating hits, but no damage, counting my hits (with witness standing right next to me), and damage not coming close to reported at end of match (visual under 350 meters to 100)... No mini-map every other match, really..?? So what the in the living "F" is going on..??? Tested with other internet service providers at 2 friends on different rigs (ATI) cards and all, the hardware much different, different service, etc, etc, etc,... Same friggin things (except worse graphics issues with ATI cards)...
Talked ingame with 3 other people in different States in the U.S., and same issues. Really..???

Has there been some sort of response that I have missed..?? Does anybody have an answer to these issues..??

No, really..... Has anything been said that I missed, because this is the worst I have ever seen MWO perform with lag/hit reg/graphics the entire time I have been playing since closed beta, i'm at a loss now.. It's not the hardware, on all rigs tested, the system specs "FAR" exceed what's needed..

Is the midwestern U.S.A. having an issue..?? Can't be tried 3 other titles with heavier requirements, and they ran smooth.
If this is what can be expected in the future, then that's it...

I'll get a few good games in, then mini map bug half the time. CTD frequency is down, can even run without vsync. Have encountered some immortal mechs, really annoying. Had one computer rubber band like crazy, while the other is ok...on the same LAN in the same match.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that at least one player, and frequently several players, in EVERY match has some kind of glitch, from outright crashing (missing players at start or the AFK's), or HUD problems. So yes, the bug frequency is 100% of games played.

Roughly 1 match out of 4-5 I experience either
-total lack of hud
-total lack of hud + 15 fps
-lack of minimap
-flipped minimap w or w/o stuck torso twist indicator
-no IFF
-no IFF + no map (this is even funnier, at least I have the HUD)
-rainbow map (15 fps comes up here as well, it leads me to think that the 15fps bug with no hud has the rainbow map under it, you just can't see it)
-screen freeze (alt+tab out and back in usually solves it)
-on screen cursor (and I have another monitor, sometimes the cursor gets out in the secondary one and you can guess the consequences)

What's more alarming is that it doesn't matter anymore if I'm experiencing them after 1 hour of continuous play. I can experience everything the above right in the first match I play for the day and deleting cache isn't helping at all.

To everybody.. just keep hammering them with reports and logs generated after each match, they'll catch them in future, hopefully..

only today, however I have out of 6 games so far had minimap/radar missing twice, this is a major irritation as teammates keep asking for help/tellimg me were targets are with a grid reference and I cannot use it

Fortunately my game isn't crashing often anymore. I get thrown out of a match very rarely, since the last patch. But the HUD issues increased. There is at least one of these bugs in 2 out of 5 games:
Black/missing mini-map
Non-rotating mini-map
Technocolor mini-map
No Friend or Foe Detection

Something new appeared several times that I never experienced before the latest patch: While zoomed in on an opponent, the outer targeting box dissappears, leaving only the inner red circle to show me that I've locked on. The box reappears when I zoom out completely.

The increased frequency of the HUD bugs since the latest patch makes me wanna quit playing. I will take a break until this is resolved. The bugs happen too often!

Consider lowering the Textures slider a notch and see if that helps...
