I had map and LRM target bugs today along with torso lock.

Rumor has it that this also might be due to people adding information to configuration files that are left unlocked.

Anyone who had C or C++ Know that config files are open gateways because you can modify the programing as the game loads up.

A little bird has told me that PGI is looking into using a third party for the removal of bugs in MWO. This partnership should bring with it a number of unique solutions and will allow PGI to focus on the income-producing aspects of the game, with certainty that they will use the funds to refine the game as soon as possible.

Well known for their work in Arlen, Texas, the exterminators at Dale's Dead Bug are brewing up some of the latest, greatest bug killer science has provided.

______________

Rest assured, all the various bugs will meet their maker, including but not limited to:

<snipped for brevity>

And More!!!!! (Feel free to let me know of any bugs I have not added to this list, and I will do so.)

Again, when you need to remove an infestation, call Dale's Dead Bug for reservations!

MOAR bugs:

Starting a match in Spectate mode, spectating yourself (I'm so proud of this one!)

Ridiculous "lag" spikes that aren't actually lag but look like it.

Mech name replaced with a rapidly changing number starting with 65xxx.

Thanks for the return to general. I'm trying to keep the list a serious one, despite the added humor.

Can anyone else verify these? I added them for now.

Also added a recent hunchback bug about it not shooting straight. There was a thread that popped up about it with a screencap.

Lol, good bird, on a serious note and all jokes aside for the sake of this game:
Unless this thirdparty has exclusive permission to change the current code design which surrounds the bugs, i doubt they will be much help.

Offering "quick" workarounds to a bigger problem is not always the best route. Failure to create "good" code in the 1st place should be the focus here.

Be interesting to see how much my FPS is lowered due to the "workarounds", instead of "true fixes".

Getting the vibe that PGI is trapped by IGP to focus on cash grab with some legal obligation stuff, because as developers, they'd care about their work and people buying their work, whereas the producer would care about their money from investing in the developer. and PGI is trying to work their way to improving the actual product, because bug fixing not being relevant to "income" just seems like such a stupid misconception only a publisher that never looked at a video game before could come up with. Just a theory. Not putting up the other theory because it's much less PGI friendly and I'd like PGI to put out a good product here :P Positive energy right gaiz?

Also, removing the back damage counting as front damage bug? That's how I got half my kills :D

That's a very detailed vibe. Care to pick a lottery winner?

Verification:

Spectate mode, thought it was cool so I took video:

Lag spikes: see patch feedback>performance and connectivity thread, lots of users experiencing what appears to be horrible lag spikes since the patch but very good pings. What most don't notice is that during these lag spikes you will rubber band around, but the other mechs won't. In a traditional highpoint lag spike, other mechs either stop or continue moving in a straight line. With these, everyone else appears to act as normal.

65threerandomdigits mech name: I've only had that once and unfortunately msi decided to be a ***** and not take screenshots >.<

Here is another I just got. It was accompanied by HUGE FPS drops and a strange tunnel vision when firing, leading to what looked like an FOV of 300+. I was unable to capture the tunnel vision.

I had the absolute strangest bug where my throttle meter would splay across the screen vertically, and the number would disappear when at full. I've only had it once and didn't get pics of it, unfortunately. I'll see if I ever do again.

This is included in the list as "Throttle HUD Issues." It's really distracting, isn't it?

Dale's Dead Bug uses all possible means to remove bugs, here is a look at one.

Sirs;

In match, complete loss of Hud, minimap, All controls and Cockpit displays. Mech allowed to continue the length of Alpine until it climbs the Highest Mountains and explodes.

Fun Glitch.

Arm reticules locked to extreme left or right of screen. Arms actually aim normally. This happened to me in a STK-5S on Tourmaline. Luckily the STK arms don't move left or right so the effect was negligible.
