ok.. after playing with the mech lab..
It looks like if i swap to double heatsinks and do nothing else my tonage drops a good amount..
this leaves me room to drop 3 double heat sinks in each side of my chest. (where my SRM6's are stored) Other than that the only place i have room to add them are my legs/arms.. which i was not sure they can fit, or are efficient in those places
the total heat rate number rises even with the less heat sinks, but taking up lots more space.
It looks like i can add a bigger engine, up to the 230..
with this weight i can stuff an AMS, with a case and 1 ton of ammo.. If i want 2 tons i must drop the engine down to 225
all these mods look like it costs around 3.5m, which i could buy another chasis instead!
But AMS, and faster engine, and i think better heat use might be pretty decent. Does this look like a good idea? or am i way off on this.. took me all weekend to earn this cash.. really don't wanna blow it on a mistake

You're very close to spot on!
I'd move the SRM ammo out of your torsos, into your legs. I'd do Double Heat sinks AND Endo Steel. You'll be basically out of Crit slots but you can get a 250 or 260 STD engine and have a GREAT mech!
This looks about right, you may move some armor from the front to the back, I would, but my work PC doesn't like smurfy mechlab so I was too lazy to take the couple minutes to get that sorted:

One thing is I don't use AMS, I'd take 1 more Double Heat Sink and some more amor on the legs/arms. Some peolpe might look at this build and tell you to drop a heat sink for more armor, your mileage may vary. One thing you can look at down the road is dropping AMS and a heat sink for Artemis on the SRM's, it helps the spread pattern a bit. You can also swap the Medium Laser in the head for TAG if you know your team mates are bringing LRMS... Anyway, great mech, lots of versatility, speed, and firepower!
Oh and I forgot to mention basically the ONLY reason to get ferro fibrous is if you already have Endosteel, endosteel ALWAYS saves you more than twice the tonnage, takes the same crit slots, and that more than makes up for the extra cost in everyone's books.
