I haven't seen this anywhere else, so I made a new topic to cover it.

I have largely confirmed (3 times, 100%) that if I am auto-logged out of the client, my user config file gets wiped clean. ALL settings and keybinds reset to default. It is a very frustrating bug. And, yea, got it, don't auto-log out. But I have 3 kids; so some times this just happens. That quick diaper change turns into a "Class 5 - Loss of Containment" event and... yea.

If I am honest, I get auto-logged off a lot. And have since last August in CB. This never happened before the server-side hotfix on Friday. Didn't happen between the patch last week and the hotfix. Wierd.

well I certainly have noticed my keybinds being completely lost and reset to default on a number of occasions and this appears to explain it

If you get logged out, do not re-log in - close the game and restart it. This will result in saved settings

Thanks for the workaround!

I do hope they fix this though; I'm going to go out on a limb and say this is not working correctly.

This explains a lot. I was never able to figure out why my settings kept resetting.
