Kinda curious to see how my redesigned arms for the Timberwolf would look like in 3D.

My design was beveled like this:

I really appreciate your guys' input, I might redo the arms in that way. My current plan is to ditch the old design and go for the Timberwolf MK VII concept arm profile where they're short and nobby, so there may be some sort of arm-pod-shield-cover involved :)

I love the revisit of the mech! I do however like the original B29 style cockpit over the angular things popular these days.

Mk VII ruins one of the improvements of the Mk IV, reversible arms. You will also be losing the lanky profile that is so iconic and end up with less a remodel of the Timber Wolf and more a remodel of the Rakshasa (not that it doesn't need some love anyways). My greatest current criticism is the styles do not mesh well. I like the more aggressive lines in the torso, but the legs and arms have inherited a hybrid look as a result that I do not find aesthetically pleasing.

Try a single piece canopy to maximize the modern stealth fighter faceted look you have on the torso. Then work in divisions and facets from there.

hmm definitely agree with losing the iconic profile if I went with stubby arms. The MKVII has a lot more emphasis on a thicker torso and pelvis. I'm also going to be getting rid of the hybrid style in the arms and legs, but I feel that I need to get the canon look 'on paper' before I do what I'd like to do with them. I'd have done that with the torso except I found the giant egg too hard to model (in sketchup with my skill level).

Hmm yeah the canopy has been kicking my *** today. I can't really figure out where to start with the current blocking of it. I appriciate your advice : )

edit: just looked at your link of the rakshasa and i omfgroflloled
