no. the Jeager is there for that. the K2 shouldn't be in the game at all. it's not a CAT. it's a stopgap to fill a role that wasn't filled.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The K2 is a canon refit done by House Kurita because they have a PPC fetish (also because they typically have a very poor supply of missile-based weaponry and ammo, but lots and lots of large energy weapons - specifically the PPC).
