You guys enjoying the 2560x1440 over the 1920x1200?

Well.... for using as wallpapers not so much - my monitor is only 1920x1080.
For just looking at them and enjoying the little details - bigger is (usually) better.

Lordred, now that Film grain is modifiable, have you considered trying to take a few pictures with it turned to the extreme(Low and/or high)?

I'm loving the size. I also crop them down to use on my phone (portrait mode, so 1080x1920, so the higher resolution means I don't have to blow them up as much.

Very first match, Terra Therma. The Pubbies performed well for me, how many of them even know about the thread, unknown, but they did give me a good match to watch.
Thanks to the pubbies for the first set.
2560x1440 ~2mb each 7 images.

Love the hunting Jester in the final shot! Very cinematic.

Wow. You made my bland mech(I was just testing it) look beautiful! Nice.
If only I knew we were grouping "by accident" I would've put on some camo.

So I asked him in TS. "No. I have not and will not."
White's response: "Wow, you could hear the disgust for film grain there."
Personally I wasn't a fan of it either. Makes it feel like Call of Duty. Now I like the idea of Depth of Field, but unless it's a dynamic Depth of Field, it's no good. Since it always keeps the cockpit in focus and blurs the distance, that isn't worth it here either.
Neither of them hide the poor anti-aliasing within the game and their idea of AA for the DX11 settings are terribly inefficient.
I personally wish I could use Lordred's settings; but my video card isn't compatible (Radeon compared to his Nvidia) and all attempts to improve the game through the Radeon's settings have resulted in catastrophic failures for me.

On a different note: Double XP weekend means it's time to pull out lesser used mechs. Quickdraw, the Dragon I haven't finished, Trebuchets, catching my firestarters up (so many), Commandos, a number of my other mechs I haven't fielded lately...
Any requests for anything? Gonna try to get Lordred out there tonight or tomorrow.

Got a new firestarter and started re-outfitting the commandos with standard engines.
Got loadout ideas? Com 1-B, 1-D, and Firestarters A and H (Ember I'm not modifying it's already awesome).
Got some ideas:
Armor is not distributed correctly (I use almost max armor, so I just click the button for max, same weight).
COM-1B Gonna be hot as hell without Double Basics. You can also go for max engines and MLs+SSRM2 or SRM2.
COM-1D Can get real nasty if you land the SRMs, if that becomes annoying, switch to SSRM2s instead. 1 ton Free weight should be nice.
FS9-A It's been serving me well. I hated not using all 8 energy points on this chassis, so I decided to go crazy with it. Once it's fully elited I might switch what the weapons are, but this is literally what I'm running, down to the armor points.
FS9-H It's what I plan on running, the Torso lasers will be a separate group of course. I think 1 ton MG ammo might be enough.
