How do you get those 2K textures?

They're already in game. Some mechs and some paint schemes are in 1024x1024, some are in 2048x2048. Lordred is just choosing to only take pictures of mechs with 2K textures at the moment.

Not a bad attemp Bloodomen. For a tip I recomend waiting for maps like River City, Crimson, Forest Colonys, Canyon Network, or Frozen City Night. You can work with normal Frozen city but you have to time it to the weather effects.

But thanks for the advice.
I made this screenshot in the testing grounds and timed the weather to archive this kind of lonely, uncomfortable atmosphere.
But I can totally understand if you migth find this one boring.
Guess there will be more to come from me.

Well I'm this prime lens kind ... got an 70, 30, 50, and 200 for my digital Canon EOS an just a greater set for my old Canon T70.

I agree, thats how I meet Wolfmech, he also does photogrophy in his passtime.

I also have a Celstron C8-N which I attach the D80 to for doing night and sky images. (1000mm focal length )

This list is so dissapointing. I am curious how certain textures were selected for 2K? Almost seems like there was a logical selection behind it - I am not 100% on this 'saving space on the install' excuse (sorry Niko(?)). Why the clan primes do not all have 2k is beyond me though.. ..obviously I am guess that for the standard variants the reason is simply that the 2k textures have not yet been applied (which we may see in coming patches?)

I like this, I totally get what you were going for.. ..another photographer here would you believe it! Although I only have a Canon 500D. Most my photography is very casual though

It would be cool to have a couple more shots, one with LRM's coming in from the distance and another where you can barely see the outline of some incoming mechs - an atlas would be great for the most ominous effect, or could do clan mechs given the invasion is coming!
