Oh look at that nice update with the state of the inner sphere.

Wait a second...

Reads again.

March 4th – DX11 – it has been complete essentially since the last Public test but we have waited to get the Christmas break and UI 2.0 behind us before releasing. Some further exploration into FPS concerns before release. It is possible upon release some will use DX 11 where others will stick with DX9 for frame rate concerns while we continue to optimize it.

Excuse me..... I am so disappointed that I feel actual pain.

This will be one of my only rants in this thread, but honestly.. I cant even right now.

Would like your opinion. During this video there's half of a match where I adjusted the "temperature" of the video to give it a more orange/red warmth to Caustic Valley. In the second half of the match it is back to normal. What are your thoughts about the change?

Just realised I meant to ask about that when I first saw that but must of forgot. But yes, in my opinion that adjustment really made Caustic feel alot more, well, caustic. Have you tried any other settings for other maps yet? I'm sure there's some that could work well, maybe make a colder feel on Frozen City etc.

Actually watch Frozen City in the same video. I actually did that already and forgot to mention it. That's the real reason it looks so foggy and bluish-white. And the reason for the blue tint even on the thermal. At 9:50 it changes back to 'regular' frozen city.

Also in this one, I did it twice to Terra Therma (made it 'warmer' and 'cooler' in terms of visual "temperature" whatever that means. It changes at different times).

Between 7 mins ("cooler") and 7:20, the change to warm kicks in.

Huh oh yeah. Well it definitely adds a bit more atmosphere to the maps. Hmm wonder if 60's/70's video quality Apollo missions style would look good for HPG...maybe not, might be good to try though.
