Oh yeah! 1 AC20 + 2 energy hard points + 2 missles hardpoints... right, this mech would be brutal force on battlefield. What a joke.

TIL the Atlas D/DDC/RS used in competitive play is a 'joke'. I mean honestly, who wants an AC/20 / Gauss Rifle, two PPC's/LL's, and 2 SSRM2's, right? Like, no-one, that's who.

Right Arm mounted ballistic slots, higher than average energy slots on left arm, missile slots and jump jets.

Yep, obviously a ****. Better redo the whole game.

Well i imagine hard points gonna be very similar to what Table Top mech varinsts that avaible since just need look last mech the jager to confirm that. from what can tell i dont see dual wielding guass highlander at all either. Thier is energy variants jager where I can see having 2-4 ppc more likly up to 3. Keep mind heavy metal is already looks one better hard point variants if consider the fact that thier some varinsts have practily same loadout but had only 2 laser in the arm. Though i am curious if put ac20 variants how thier gonna handle targeting for it.

It's always amusing coming across a player who actually, honestly believes that PGI is making these 'mechs up from scratch, and that they can just 'change the tonnage' or 'alter the loadout' at will, and 'upgrade' or 'downgrade' different 'mechs at a whim.

It's obvious who has played any of the Battletech or Mechwarrior games, and who hasn't.

There is probably going to be a 3 PPC arm in a variant... judging by the HM's 3 energy arm hardpoint.

There wont be. There will be however 3ppc mountable variants, but some would go torso.

the stalker is notoriously the most over armed mech is classic Battletech. (the battlemaster has one PPC six MLs and an srm6 oh two mgs. ) and pays for this by having the most limited arc of fire in the game.heavy metal has exactly what it should and is terrifying. there are mechs with screwed hardpoints but this isn't one of them. the only prob i see is the lack of option to put an ac 20 on it.
