Least satisfying death has got to be being cored by a teammate who had no IFF or map, one shot twin EPPC and Gause which critted me out 2 mins in to Alpine peaks with no contact with enemy, I then became his map and IFF we then went on to kill 4 Enemy mecks

We were at alpine peaks and the game was winding down with only one enemy mech left that was nowhere to be found. My remaining teammates all start heading towards the cap point while I decided to go back to base with my founders hunchback just in case.

Sure enough as I was near the cap point when I see a spider zigzagging thru the base complex trying to flank me. I alert my team "Spider in base" and reposition myself between the cap point and where I thought the spider might pop out of the complex. He busts out on my left in between the buildings near where i was positioned, going at full speed trying to flank me on my right. I twist fast and lead my AC/20 as best as I could, squeezing the trigger while hoping for the best.

BAM! His leg blows apart and I light him up with my mediums as he slows to a crawl. He practically stops right in front of me, looking up as I lower my AC/20 right at him. We look at each other for a second as my AC/20 cooled down. I thought it was a funny looking scene, with us face to face, waiting for the inevitable. When it was up, I "executed" him with a single shot.

I think that was one of the rare times I was able to leg a full speed light with an AC/20, I was expecting a prolonged circle strafe while the other guys capped

I came over a crest and immediately spotted a Centurion just standing a bit away but half facing me. I brought my weapons to bear and, noticing he was standing still, sighted as best I could on its head and took a snap shot at him with my dual Gauss...best feeling ever seeing it fall backwards pilot-less

me in my Cicada 2A. 340XL.

Armor red on one Leg, bite it off. Laugh as he struggles to turn. Shoot off the other leg.

We drop 7v8 on Frozen City. As we approach the ridge, I say, "Alright, team, we can do this if we stick together, we're only down 1." Right after I finish typing, a light comes over the ridge and I take a snap-shot with my 4-PPC Stalker. As he tumbles down the slope, I say, "And now we're even!"

Any kill on an easymode light is satisfying, just hitting their legs and watching them hobble is one of the best things you will ever do in your life.

Back when LRMs were more viable I'd run an Atlas DDC with 3 LRM15s/Artemis/Tag/AC20 and medium laser.

Lot of pilots would underestimate the build, especially other Atlas's in brawler builds. During one match as part of a 4 man pug on comms versus either a synch drop or 2 4 man team, it came down to me vs another Atlas-DDC and a Raven 3L.

We were both so heavily damaged and had been picking at each other with the Raven 3L persistently trying to core out my back. I managed to finish off the Raven 3L as it turned away with my AC20 right before the Atlas destroyed it coming around the backside of the Dropship on Frozen City. My last volley was at 181 meters and took out his AC20 and LL. He was apparently out of SRMs at that point and we were each down to 1 LL and my paltry medium laser.

We proceeded to duke it out, rolling torso's and moving trying to get an edge with terrain but Atlas's don't dance all that well. I won... just barely with a few minutes to spare and ended the match with several kills and the rest assists... more importantly, the win. The whole team was on edge the entire time as we tickled each other to death.

Of all the head shots, epic in flight kills of light mechs with ppc/gauss or long range lucky head shots, this battle stands out the most as a nail biter as I was down to internals only by the end.

I would have to say my favorite kills are when I can catch an opfor backing away from a teammate thru buildings and streets and you can pop him from a cross street and you know he has that look on his face of "What ...."

Not sure you've tried playing a light mech lately... with hit scan on lasers, and soon to have ballistics (PPC included), the addition of collision in the near future the light mech pilots that continue to do well I'd rank in the top 20% of mech pilots online, if not top 10%.

The easy mode days of lag shields, ECM/Streak and impossible hit boxes are quickly heading into extinction.

On the way to help a friend on Alpine, see an A1 walking in his direction at the bottom of the slope I'm currently on. Keep moving forward, just so happens it has come up the hill and is directly in front of me but doesn't notice me. It's twisting and looking around, so I wait for the right shot, otherwise it might end up wrecking me. It finally turns my direction, and decides to stop and greet two ac/20 shots. I continue walking down into a small valley to help my friend, only to have the wreckage come sliding to a stop just in front of me. Wish I had a screenshot you could not have machinima'd a better result.

Any time I kill a Raven 3L, usually via legging.

It's just so satisfying after being plagued by them for so long.

My most satisfying kill is from yesterday night. I was playing my new Jäger, a hunch and myself took out a dragon and a cataphract right before the best kill of the match for me.

Picture this, river city night I am by myself heading for theta. I see a contact on theta I target it while not in line of site. The targeting computer soon reads Atlas, it was pretty healthy. I proceed to flank him and shoot him in the arm with 2 AC 20s, he turns to face me. I was tooling along at 71 kph and started using the theta point as cover while shooting him. I blow off his left torso and arm and as I am circling theta I see not 90 meters away a second fresh atlas bearing down on me.

I thought what the heck and continued my attack throwing pot shots at both Atlai. As I swung around theta a second time I took out the CT of the second atlas. I swung around theta again and blew off the right torso of the first atlas, zombieing him. I then lined up and cored him. I took some light damage but ended up still armed and armored. I finished the match with a whopping 1000 damage from picking apart the atlai.
