That has everything to do with the game. How the changes in it are impacting its growth or recession. Front page stuff, of the utmost importance. If 99.9% of the current players stopped playing after the next patch, you would, applying this logic, say a conversation on that topic has nothing to do with the game.

Shenanigans.

If 10,000 or 100,000 individuals are playing at the same time it does not change the fundamental gameplay in the individual matches. It does not change weapon rates, UI elements or 'mech loadouts.

I'd agree, if you squint hard enough , you could make an arguement that the number of players (as content) might just be considered a gameplay element.

Again, I can see your point, however, we'll just have to agree to disagree. No Shenanigans, just a difference in opinion.

Have a swell evening. :D

Cheers

The real question you should ask is whether the community is actually "living" perhaps and as such whether the inane drivel that comes through in occasional topic posting is designed to separate opinion or segregate its members as a distraction to real issues? As is the sign of a true politician and providing a dim view of the situation in order to propel a view for personal gain, no?

Forum figures I would imagine being a less than useful metric to analyse an active population due to it being a matriculated figure and the fact people will be generating multiple accounts. At least however the ongoing additions can be attributed to potential growth however.

Instead of placing the community into "behavioral" boxes and placing the blame then on that choice with the PUG or group selection you could actually use energies to focus constructively and objectively on the issues that are of concern?

Though I have to say that the idea of being able to work as a team in solidarity towards a goal usually actually requires the need to surrender some freedoms or make compromises to individualised needs by design. So maybe instead of promoting intolerance to certain groups you could perhaps consider what you can tolerate instead and identify more with that choice perhaps from a sense of personal acceptance?
