Dearest MWO community,

MWO has been through alot since inception, and its story is full of as many ups and downs as a roller coaster. Its important to know how the trials and tribulations have impacted growth of the community over time. But how can we measure such growth?

We cant use the player counter, its been hidden due to unknown reasons.

Some say to gauge it based on forums participation.

Other say to look at the frequency of seeing the same players in public games.

A few say we need to take the number of forum threads jettisoned, squared, and multiply it by the average number of new forum accounts created per week.

I am not sure, but I know this much. I dont have the answer, and I dont think any other single person outside PGI's staff does either. But perhaps, together, we can think through this.Help me. Help me help you. Lets get to the bottom of this! What metric can we use to gauge the growth of this community since MWO's birth!?

Thank you for your time, consideration, and intelligent contributions in advance.
