Huh. Have fun finding that one star upon the infinite star ocean that is space. I'll wait for your return in year never. Yes, I'm that damn cynical about this.

So this is interesting, the time of the posting on the front page is mentioned as Apr 11, 2013 9:00 AM PDT, but in reality its 9:00AM EDT, it won't be 9 pacific for another 3 hours. I'm guessing somebody plugged in the wrong number for the automated post timing

What a bunch of poppycock. All they're going to find is cold, dead space, just like Kerensky and his exodus fleet.

Look on the bright side. It is not like they have access to large quantities of ComStar's resources.

Hey! No need to insult Wayne Waco. Even if he is crazy and carries a grudge for far, far longer than he ever should.

For me... It says the ISN news post was actually made at 5 AM EST.

Though you do have a point, the front page says 9 AM PDT.

Colonel Waco is a raving loony-tune himself. Yes, his son got killed fighting the Dragoons. Yes, I sympathize with the pain and grief that naturally causes in a father, but the boy was a mechwarrior and a mercenary. Every time we step into the cockpit we're risking death. People have died even on the practice field, and I'm sure the Waco Rangers' training regimen is no more free of such incidents than any other unit who trains their recruits would be. Should the parents of such soldiers blame Colonel Waco for the deaths of their sons or daughters and pursue a vendetta against him because of it?

Of course, Waco's much too far gone to ever listen to that kind of logic. The Rangers are a good unit, but their commanding officer has, I fear, permanently tarnished their reputation with his attitude.

As for the One Star Faith, dear lord, where to begin describing the ridiculousness of what they "believe". Some people just _want_ to live in fairytale land where General Kerensky rides flying magical unicorns across the stars farting rainbows and Starleague lostech all the way.
