At this point I'd like to see two real advantages from having hand acuators on a mech.

1. The mech is able to stand from being knocked down quicker.

2. Mechs with hand actuators can climb steeper inclines.

These are practical and realistic, and they would be balanced against the added crit space that handless mechs have.

I can´t get rid of the image of an Atlas carrying a huge rack of Beerkegs around B)

But put that aside, if the Mech has hands, it should be able to use them. But that´s no "Has to be" .
