Just got done watching Bullit, original car chase is terribly put together car chase.

Ok, so it has some continuity errors vis a vis magical reappearing hubcaps. However, it is the prototype for every good modern chase scene (along with the French Connection).

I mean come on, that's like saying the Model T was a bad car, Isaac Newton was a bad scientist or the Mackie was a bad 'Mech- they may not match up well to those who built on their success afterward, but they were revolutionary AND YOU WILL PAY THEM THE PROPER RESPECT OR I WILL COME TO YOUR HOUSE AND DEFECATE IN YOUR SHOES!

Says the young'n that's never seen anything not green screened...You do realize that it was an actual car chase and it was originally done on this stuff called film.....

Couldn't have said it better myself EM....this generation is so spoiled...why in my day they used aluminum sheets to make sound effects...(anybody that gets that reference is a true S.W. fan) circa 1979..(hint)......

Guys come on they took different angle shots from the same street and sploched them together, I mean they passed the same Green bug on the road with the Red, White, (insert third color here) bugs parked on the side.
