Speaking solely for myself: Aces Wild started as an offshoot of another unit, partially because there was a "competitive vs. casual" disconnect. Unfortunately, one extreme of the unit (now gone, from what I understand) was heavily involved in RHoD, so it became something of a symbol of that whole unpleasant experience.

So yeah- we're really looking forward to kicking ***, taking names and having fun in Community Warfare. To borrow from Malcolm Reynolds, we aim to misbehave. But until then, we welcome any unit who wants to scrimmage or just have a drink and shoot the proverbial sh*t about how much fun this whole Giant Stompy Robots thing can be.

Gut, we appreciate the offer but I think we will have to pass at this point. We had a bad experience with this previously. In a different unit. Sorry for the abruptness in previous answer.

Skadi, Curiosity is a good thing...:-) As stated we had a bad experience previously and it's not that we are against them per se so much as we don't have an interest in them ourselves. We can see the appeal to them for some units, just not ours at this time.

This may change in the future and if it does then we will contact somebody and hopefully still be welcome...Thanks.

I'm about halfway through my "trial period" now. So far, so good. Lots of good fun, good humor, and flexibility both in play style and times.

There are enough companies dropping together at different times that there's opportunity for everyone to fit in somewhere. I thought I'd have a big problem there because of my work schedule, but it hasn't been an issue.
