Hello, I am not normally one to complain. I can deal with many MANY issues in games,if it's worth playing through. I have been an avid supporter, I've played Mechwarrior games since Mechwarrior2 on my DOS pc. I want this game to work so badly, but it is almost impossible to enjoy because of the incredibly large amount of bugs/glitches. I play more matches with glitches then I do with everything working. It almost feels like a glitch when everything is working. I have, in my long history of game playing, never played a game with so many bugs/glitches. I feel like PGI is not addressing issues that are plaguing its game. Every patch I see come down the pipe, things get worse.

I am playing on a Alienware M18X with crazy specs yet I get 25 FPS on medium settings?

I get the black screen bug at launch 1/3 of the time

I get the graphics freeze about 1/3 matches

The weird reverse capping colours in conquest

I get the no hud, no IFF or squished up hud almost every round.

If I don't manage to get these then I get hippie coloured geometry shapes thrown at me.

It's becoming hard for me to see past these glitches to the final product. PGI please help me love this game by slowing your movement towards releasing new content, and fix your current issues. Its starting to feel like you are piling crap on crap.

Just imagine that this is a sim and you are dealing with common problems for century old war machines. :P

The thing is, this is Beta and we are Beta testers. We tell PGI what we think, they take our feedback into consideration and then they help improve the game.

Sort of.

I would agree with the Beta, but typically things get better as the Beta progresses.

When everything is in, then things will get better. Until then expect every patch to break something in new and interesting ways.

@Davers

I truely hope so. Mechwarrior games mean a lot to me, I am hoping this game explodes and get the franchise back on its feet.

its what happens when you are using DX9 for a DX11 game. They have made it fairly stable, far more stable then it was back in CB, where you prayed you didn't blackscreen. A lot of these bugs and performance issues will go away, and some new ones will always show up, when DX11 comes. Also SLI is not in the game yet either, and my system has to have SLI or I am forced to run on low/med settings. Thats not to say the game doesn't look bad at all, it looks real good even in med settings for a DX9 game. Just imagine how epic the game will really look come DX11.

The rubberbanding has been really awful today. I'm getting kind of sick of it and I haven't spent any money this month because of it.

I don't want to think of what I have spent. I normally buy a month of premium every month, and have most of the decent Hero mechs. The Heavy Metal was a bit of a let down, but I am going to keep playing around with it until I find a viable build.

Hopefully if this goes well we may get a "Mechwarrior: Combined Arms" expansion or something. :P

I will not dispute the fact that there are glitches in the game, but if you are only getting 25 FPS on medium, then you7 system is not as strong as you may think, I am not running anything special, nivida gtx 550 ti and 8 gig ram intell i5 3570 at medium I'm getting 60 fps at full screen, even at max settings I get 37-43, I am thinking that you need to review your system b4 saying that it is the games fault ( edited for correct RAM )

I am a huge gamer, I do not under estimate my laptop.

SPECS
M18X
Intel i7 2760QM
SLI GTX 580M (total 4GB of RAM)
32GB Ram 1600Mhz
2X 256GB Seagate SSD in raid 0 (512GB storage non-redundant)
Latest drivers installed for video and audio installed 07-04-13

If this wont play the game well, then many people wont be able too.
I more then exceed the recommended specs.

Odd, my system gets 45fps min and around 55 average. BTW you don't combine the GPU's ram, you have only 2GB effective.

i5 2550k @ 4.4Ghz
6950 @ 865MHz, 1350MHz ram
16GB @ 1862MHz
240GB OCz Agility 4 SSD
XiFi titanium fatality sound card
latest drivers and the sweetFX FXAA max graphics config (slightly more taxing than normal max settings).

So it shouldn't be your hardware holding you back, it could be a lack of optimization or proper setup.

That sounds...kind of awesome actually. lol! It's lame when I get that bug, but 8 of us? That would be interesting.

To reply directly, they just announced that they have created a PROGRAM to make it easier to track down code-bugs.
Why they think that their bug finding code will be bug free when their main code is buggy is beyond me.
Seems to me like a downward spiral. Bug finder full of bugs, make a program to de-bug your debugger, etc...

They need coders worth the paychecks.
