Still, there is a precedence for folks "moaning in forums" about "stuff broken"tm and "not enough content"tm. Developer's always need to consider their future content, to keep the masses happy.
Oh, who am I kidding. Forum-dwellers and the gaming community are never happy.

So... you suggest that people who have 4+ chassis mastered get 50% less xp so they are forced to play more?
i say that because a lot of people won't feel like you. Some are casual players, some like all chassis, some takes interest in all chassis. Some want functional old features, instead of new buggy ones. Some are ok with the actual rate of xp because they just play 30/60 minutes per day.

Veteran Founder package + plus one MC recharge(for mech bays), no vanity items, no paint.
May I suggest that in order to get the most out of this game and to prolong your enjoyment, you instead play the game on 'hardcore' difficulty level and just use Cbils from now on?

As it is now, I feel it is balanced for those who play little, and for those who are obsessive collectors.
The promotional weekends are to keep people playing, which I also believe it does well.

No. This is the kind of game where if there were no grind whatsoever, it should still be fun. The fun should be in the action itself, and messing with loadouts and different chassis. Not in "only 25 more matches and I can blah blah blah"
The XP system in this game is a nice addition, as it gives you some fluff to work towards with pilot XP, and as a system to give minor buffs to a mech you have piloted a lot, as in, you have a lot of fly time in that mech so you are better at it then a rookie. But thats all it needs to be, for sure not some kind of metering device used to control players advancment somehow. thats some WoW crap right there. MWO just needs to make sure lasers pew pew and dakka dakka are fun in their own right and the XP stuff will sort itself out anyway.

Who cares if you master a mech before they release another one? Do you seriously only play for the xp?
No thanks bro. I hate the fact that I have to **** around on variants I don't like and this suggestion would make it take even longer. I honestly would probably quit.

If you buy mech with MC, then I understand the grind is with XP, but for most F2P players it will be the c-bill grind for the next mech + upgrades (DHS + Endo).

GXP is too slow.
Why is this? Forces you to buy MC to convert.
It's a way for PGI to create revenue because they've done a poor job creating real things for us to buy.

The normal rate is about right, I think Double XP was premature and now there is an excess of mastered mechs.
You know how many mechs I have mastered? Zero. You know why? Because I dont race to finish things. There is ample content for someone who plays in moderation, not for someone who races through. There is no game made that is built for people who race through the content.

How have you not mastered one mech? Is it because you don't own 3 of one mech type? Mastering Centurion's (the only mech I've mastered) didn't take that long. I played VERY casually too.

It should be about community warfare and building your faction into the dominent force in the Inner Sphere.

dude just shut up, your like the people in WoW who blow thru new content the first day or two its out so they can brag they did so then whine there is nothing to do.
The XP grind is fine how it is, leave it alone.
You have to grind cash for the mech, then grind the xp for the mech, then grind cash for the other mechs then get them all up to master.
so please take a break from the game or slow the F down

Having a "grind" is just an artificial way to keep players hooked to make up for a game being poorly designed. IMO MWO would do just fine without the crutch of having an XP tree or CBill economy were it not a F2P game, and as long as they increased the variety of game-play content such as mission modes, single player, etc. The basic mechanics of MWO are just plain fun.

Screw double XP weekends; lets have a 50% off MC weekend.
P.S. I find the xp grind way too fast, considering it's the only thing to do in the game.
