But when I'm not making an honest concerted effort to be open minded, my knee-jerk reaction is "f#@& no, those lowtax dorks drive me nuts. They can pound sand."

Your first point would be 100% reasonable if we weren't constantly getting a stream of cockpit decorations that suggest that someone is there working on them regularly. We're suggesting that more people would buy a birdman bobblehead than a Marik medallion or a peace necklace, or a statue of a metal babby, or a Kurita wall hanging.

Your second point is legitimate, however.

Well you've got me there. Somebody is already tasked with creating useless content, and so you're suggesting PGI retask them with making useless content that might sell better. Okay, fair enough, I can't fault your logic.

I love that this thread is still alive.

It reminds me that while we may jump down eachother's throats about DHS or HP restrictions, we all just love the game and want it to be good.

Hell, can it be that hard to code a replacement for our pilot's humanoid legs with Tetatae ones? This game is, after all, clearly lacking in terms of variety of playable races.
