That would be because it was written by one of the best trolls on the forums and it got plenty of controversy. Sometimes being a good troll requires trying to actually be helpful.

In it's original form, it had a poll to send it to K Town
all threads belong in K Town and should
then percolate to their respective forum.
Oh, and I'm back from 3 weeks of camping.
What did I miss?

some pretty good patches that have made the game more interesting in my opinion and driven the poptarts and heavy "snipers" into uncontrollable rage.
jump jet shake and actual physics on the terrain so mechs can't climb straight up cliff faces anymore. also they did stuff with heat balance to cut back the incentive to alpha strike all the time.
