Cowboy bebop: that show was awesome.
Buzzer: From the time when Ravens used to be annoying little things. (Just can't get it over my heart to sell it) Raven is one of my favorite BT mechs.
BearForceOne: Bought the Atlas kinda against my will (never liked the fatlas in any MW game). I Once saw on Dutch TV a christmas singasong group of big hairy *** men calling themselves BearForceOne and thought it was fitting for the Atlas.
Alpha&Omega: 8mlas+1mpulse or 3mlas and 3ERPCC's fully pimped with DHS and max armor, what else can you call it?
PedoBear: It's a big stalker hunting little Commando's with his 5 SSRM launchers.
SystemShock: I allready had a Shodan, and this mech was my attempt at a 6PPC stalker (first stalker I bought when it came out).
C. MacCleod: Highlander mech named after the highlander movie starring Christopher Lambert playing Connor 'The Highlander' MacLeod.


Other mechs that I used to have and can renember and had nicknames:
Raven with ECM called Radio (short for my nick)
Cornholio: Catapult C1 with 6xsrm4
Jenner called FTL for the speed.
Closed Beta Atlas that was called Daddy Issues (was in the time the game used to crash quite a lot for me to desktop "home")
A commando called Rambo
A hunchback with AC20 that I called peashooter
A centurion called "je moeder" dutch for your mom.

I named all my mechs as a sort of attribute associated with my name. I named the first one just cause i thought people would actually see the names and felt it would be funny, but even after finding out no one will see the names the idea kind of stuck. So, without further ado i give you:

(The original) HBK-4SP: Sniffer
HBK-4G: Picker
HBK-4P: Stinky

I used to have a dragon too that was named "Nutty" but i decided that i did not like dragons so i sold it. Now I'm thinking about filling his slot with a Catapult, but i haven't come up with a name yet, maybe "Flinger" or Exploder"

Pretty much named all my mechs off another mech from Gurren lagann. The ones invest in even get a similar paint scheme to the ones on the show.

Named the first couple mechs I bought. Then realized the displayed name was removing the display chasis name of the particular mech in the selection menu. Now, I wish I could undo the names and leave them all as the chasis names. Its not like anyone else can see the names anyway... *shrug*

I'm all for changing names! I too need a bit of time to know a mech before the right name presents itself.

My baby, my prize, my Raven 3L is currently saddled with the name 'Salamander.' It's the second mech I picked up back when I started playing.

I've since developed some actual skill and have crammed a scary amount of kit (and a few dollars) into this bouncy little frame.

It now has a red+gold+black buccaneer paintjob, full masteries, and i'm 7k gxp short of my fourth module 8) (not sure if info gathering or cap speed)
