I named my 3 Orions: Balthazar, Melchor and Kaspar
The 3 wise men.
And much like the 3 wise men, pays homage to my Ilya Muromets who is promptly named JHC.

Seriously I was so excited about the orions but all the variants gravitate to one build and that one build just can't outperform my Ilya Muro. A mech that weighs more and cannot outperform a lighter mech of the same weight class is pretty much useless to me. And now they're sitting in storage waiting for another big star in the sky to help them on their way...

I wanted to call my IM 'Nyancataphract' but that was too long so I had to drop a few letters. :)

All of my Spiders are called " Shelob MK(insert assigned marque)" as they can at times be as much a pain to play as it is to read the Silmarillion.

damnit, everyone else has such classy and witty names :)

mine are usually derived from what the enemy hears just before they die... and are usually single sylables...

eg. BOOM (as7-d), THUMP (hbk-4sp), DAKKA (sdr-5k), CRUNCH (ctf-??), BLAM (hbk-4g), ZOOM (lct-3m), WHEEE! (lct-3v) etc etc...

I feel like a country person (cos r*dn*ck is apparently censored?) now :/

Those are creative in their own way - never would have occurred to me to name them those ;)
R*dneck is censored because of the way people use it - it is used as frequently as an insult as it is anything else.

I only have 4 slots since I'm a weekend warrior, and don't have money to spend on a game anyway, but here are my 3 named ones:

JM6-S: Sregla
LCT-1V: Luk
LCT-3M: Tacol

Gibberish names to me really. The Jager and the 1V are scrambled sections of name backwards. For the 3m, I took the "LCT", turned it around backwards and shoved in vowels.

I'm so unoriginal...........I just added RZR to the end of the names, deleted enough characters to fit it as required on some.

1) My Raven RVM-3L "Archon". Every first mech of a Steiner family member shoud be named in this way.

2) My Jenner JR7-D "Sarah" (Sarah's Mech)
3) My Jenner JR7-K "Challenger"
4) My Jenner JR7-F "Valour" All Jenner's are mastered.

5) My Spider SDR-5D "Gauntlet"
6) My Spider SDR-5K "Nightmare" Even similar to the Champion. Four machine guns warrant this name.
7) My Spider SDR-5V "Honour"

*stomp stomp stomp*

Ronald likes big mechs. So he named his Stalker STK-3F "BigMech". Because it's a big mech. Got it?

*stomp stomp stomp*

Ronald bought a new mech!!!1 Finally he earned 'nuff money to buy anything. Ronald works for a very greedy company so it's no surprise that it took so long.

It's a Stalker and his name is "Mech Rip" because Ronald likes to rip other mechs to shreds. He knows it sounds similar to this cruel piece of pork you can buy at his company but it has nothing to do without it!

Goodbye! *Ronald waves farewell*

*stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp stomp *
(Ronald leaves right now)

Phrac-U (my IM )
MetalBlaster (Battlemaster :) )
Chica (Cicada), sometimes "Zecke" (Tick) or "Zicke" (she-goat/ priss), but that´s more of a general name for those mechs, not for my owned ones
