Killing Blow / Capture Bonus

Here's the scenario, the map is Tourmaline Desert - Assault. We notice the enemy team closing in on where Theta would be, start taking sniper fire so we take cover. I and 2 teammates notice a Jenner running past on the edge, we fall back and return to our base, the rest of the team keeps engaging the enemy core as they march forward. The 3 of us who went back (Dragon/Centurian/Myself - Also in a Centurian) engage the Jenner who also had a Cicada along, which I never noticed until we got to our base. We managed to kill them fairly easily. Meanwhile, the four that stayed to slow the main enemy group was killed off in battle but one of our lights managed to get to the enemy base. Got us the win as well.
So the thing is, the light that captured the enemy base, didn't get much XP....but did win the game. So why not reward him for the good strategy and give a bonus XPfor having done so? For example, why not give a reward to anyone who is in the capture area for a win. Or for whoever gets the final killing blow?
Sure it would suck to do most of the damage to a mech only to have someone come and land that blow and essentially "Kill Steal" but I think that also having the ability to get rewarded for a capture would be good.
In Conquest mode it could be that mechs are rewarded for when a cap point flips? It could be a much smaller reward since many more nodes are captured, but I think this would be a good way to help balance out xp gains for the players that are not involved with most of the damage dealing, but are still doing the essential actions to win a game.

I often run fast lights, and it bugs me that I win a game and get last on the team.

Granted, you can win due to a cap and get paid rather low on the XP/CB. You still have a win credited to your history. If your primary focus is MAKING CREDITS, take a fast mech with rapid weapons and tag every enemy mech in the match. You'll get pay and XP bonus for every kill. Win or lose, you'll be able to farm out money and XP more than the average loss where you 'try to help' and still get pounded.
Making currency is not everything. Well...yes it is, in this game mode. Try to remember this is a demo of a larger game where (theoretically) there will be other goals besides getting rich.

150 XP is divided amongst everyone who damaged the enemy in proportion to damage dealt. 50XP goes to the killshot.

ive had games in one of my lights where id id 100 or so damage yet got 4-5 kills (pure luck) not because i was trying to kill steal or got lucky cockpit shots no because i happened to try and help and get the last hit on a enemy mech that my team had already slammed into the ground.
on the flip side ive had games where i did 1000 damage and gotten zero kills because after ripping off someones armor and my weapons are on cooldown a teammate happens to get a lucky critical or last hit in.

That's how it's suppose to work, but I know myself, and others, who have done the most damage have received little in the way of currency and XP reward.Like some of the matches I fight I will hit up around 500 damage with a couple of kills in that match but my credit and XP earnings are like if I lost the match, but if I did poorly and even got destroyed with only a couple of kill assists I can nearly get 150k credits and more XP if the team wins.

Credits are rewarded based on damage and component destruction.
XP is awarded for component destruction, kills, and assists.
150+50 XP is the kill+assist pool.
If you deal 300 damage to someone, and someone else does 200 and gets the kill, then the XP spread is 90XP assist and 110xp kill.
I've done the lions share of the work killing assault mechs (through the rear torso) but since I've dealt less actual damage than the guy painting both arms, both legs, and all 3 front torsos with lasers ineffectively I generally get little XP for doing so.
Pay attention to your kill/assist rewards some time as they come up. You can never receive less than 50xp for a kill, you receive 200xp for a solo kill, and if you nearly kill a mech but someone else finishes it off you'll get probably in the range of 100-150xp.
As to your specific statement, I've had low damage and huge XP rewards for leg killing lights, since it takes relatively low damage.
I've also had super high damage and gotten very little as it was all to assault mechs, and generally they take more damage (meaning that since XP granted is by ratio of damage, each point of damage is worth less XP).

i think that has to do with the Salvage bonus, which i think the total possible salvage for the team (before its split) has to do with how much of the enemy team's mechs is still in one piece, so tearing an enemy mech appart and destroying all components lowers your potential salvage. While if you kill every enemy mech by cockpiting them you'd get the max potential salvage. but thats just a possibility.
id more like to know how sometimes my kill assists give me 7500 Cbills even if i only tagged them with a 1 damage medium laser hit, Yet other times i can almost kill them yet only get 3750 cbills.....

As to this one, there's a couple of reasons.
Kills and assist are rewarded differently between Conquest and Assault.
Kills always come with at least 1 component destruction, and Kill+Component destruction yields the same CBill reward as an assist by itself. Meaning that your kill reward could be X, buy you also get Y as a reward for destroying a component, and the assist CBill reward is X+Y.

I only play assault and even if they are rewarded differently per match the XP fluctuation from doing lots of damage and getting several kills to getting no kills and barely scratching paint is quite noticeable to more than a few of us. Again both my CBill and XP rewards has been lower for when I am having a hot night with high damage and several kills under my belt to a bad night that where I would be destroyed with only one or two kill assist tags that would be higher and much lower damage.
