Another doom and gloom thread, fascinating. Do you have proof the pilot trees will be reset?

If your answer is no, did you make this thread just to get attention?

Um, when they've done it, they've reset what you had invested in it.

With the paint reset, they refunded all MC you had spent to purchase the items. I imagine the same would be with any GXP you have invested in the pilot trees.

As far as the underlying question. As long as I'm refunded for my in game purchases with the fake currency I used to purchase them with, I'm fine. I would welcome an expansion of the pilot tree and a chance to re-spend that GXP.

I'm curious as to where you're getting your information that prompted this thread.

i wont quote that one above you because he is a anti troll im not trying to troll just asking a question so with the paint i purchase colors an such that were cheaper the first time around they refunded the mc an changed the price so i lost out on what i had. I am just saying if the common practice of altering goods is unacceptable i would be wise to contact a consumer agency if this activity continues i hope this does not happen but i have herd this an would like some answers as to why they take my money an change my goods.

Assuming we got our GXP refunded, the only problem I would have is that, for some chassis, I no longer own all three variants I used to get to Master. So a reset *MIGHT* cost me a fair amount of C-bills as well.

They didn't alter your squat, you got a full refund on paint.

Pilot Tree and Mech Tree will be getting an overhaul. If things need to be reset, you will get another full refund, and nothing will be lost.

Are u stupid they refunded and changed the price that is altering....... im not that mad about that but i did lose out its like its like getting a whopper paying the price taking it back getting then receiving a whopper Jr what do you not understand.

Well, with the paint/cammo deal, they hadn't (that I remember) put any of it on sale really. And they totally redid the way that patterns are sold while increasing the options for paint by 10 fold. Any perceived loss of value for one item was pretty much replaced by variety of options in a way that I thought was a better system. (The boards were on fire previous to that about how ban customization sucked prior to the change)

Having said that, there haven't been any GXP 'sales' where you got a break for what you spent on the pilot tree, and if you used MC to convert XP to GXP, then this change (if real) should make you happy.

As far as hearing things on a TS server, give it the weight that it deserves... none. I can go on the NGNG server and say that they're abandoning the Hero mech concept as it's too P2W (something I don't believe BTW). Just the mention of that would have people punching kittens and setting old women on fire.

They expanded paints, and made them cheaper. What you are griping about is ordering from the $1 menu and getting a $50 porterhouse steak.

I highly doubt they will take away any xp or general xp if they reset the trees. Heck they might just convert all XP already spent into general XP to make it easy during the reset. At any rate, players wont have to regrind experience.

They can't simply do this. People spend MC - real cash - to obtain mechs and three variants of mech chassis in order to grind for the pilot trees. Many of those mechs were later sold for CBills to make room for new mechs or because the player wanted to keep only those he really liked.

IF they intended to reset the pilot-tree they would have to return all those money (in form of MC) to the player accounts. Why? Because I think if not we will see the biggest shitstorm that has ever hit these forums.

And I only mentioned the people who spent real money. Those who just spend time and CB on the grind of the mechs will also be up in full arms!

You haven't spent anything but GXP in the mech tree... unless, like I said, you paid to convert XP to GXP, in which case, you should be VERY happy if this happens.
