I was looking at the 'ask the devs' for last week, and noticed an interesting question. Someone said that they had 11 mil worth of armor, and they were wondering if they could sell it at one point. The devs answered with a "Yes!" and that it would come with U.I. 2.0. So then, I looked at how much armor quantity I have sitting around. 5716 is what I had. Since selling stuff comes out to half of the original value, each unit of armor should be sold for 5008 bills(originally bought at 10,016). Supposedly, that should give me 28,625,728 C-bills. Having only 3 mil c-bills at the moment, finding this out makes me giddy.

Pretty sure the selling price could magically drop prior to that being released. The whole point of screwing people over with hilariously low sell price of old mechs was to make them grind more or buy additional slots and just keep the mechs forever. Why would they change it?

i would ask how someone like yourself would get that much mg ammo, but there's only 3 mechs that come with MGs in the game so i assume you piloted the RVN-4X, SDR-5K, and the CPLT-K2 at some point in time?

Not to burst your bubble, but armor, I'm pretty sure, is bought and sold in 1-ton increments. So 32 points of armor is worth 10016 c-bills to buy.

Four. The CDA 3C has MGs too.

Easy. You have to pay the mech techs to cart the armor off for you.

In all seriousness, it's a good point. When resale value is zero, anything is better.

They will allow selling....months after repairs come in, which will drain the armour reserves everyone has.
