I really like that I can use whats his face... Gavin?... that one dude's program and just fiddle around with my mech designs anywhere- on the toilet (with my laptop), in places where there's no wifi (sorry smurfy), anywhere, any time.

Is there an Iphone app for this yet? One specific to MW:O?

Because if not, there needs to be.

... along with an official MW:O armband to keep iphones from taking tragic dips into the toilet.

And maybe some MW:O handsoap to keep the iphones from getting all poopy.

So much WIN packed into one little post, I don't know where to begin.

Oh, Krieiger, yeah, that's where I'd begin. How could you not love that guy. Everything else is just puppies and toilet paper rolls after that.

Absolutely, that's the most fun about it (to me.)

I avoid the smurf website, though. I like to figure things out on my own--for better or worse.

That's the best part of the game.

Make the mech lab full screen, and you'd have made the best part better.

Mechlab is really the only reason I play right now. The game is too buggy and the matchmaking system too poor, for me to get enjoyment.

I spend more time in the mechlab than the game itself.

I to play in mech Lab more than the game its self.
I like to build out then test it on the test grounds then try it out on a live drop.

Likewise, I spend more time in Smurfy's than in the game proper.

I just wish there was a good Android app, or that Smurfy's or Mechromancer worked better on my phone. Mechromancer is definitely superior on a phone, but still is pretty clumsy.

Absolutely. The mechlab is half of what makes MechWarrior fun. That's why smurfy's site is a godsend for those of us in an office during the daytime or on lunch break.

That said, I don't think it would translate well to a smartphone-sized screen but who knows.

If there was no mechlab I would not play. This is why MW:LL was not interesting to me.

This. Mech customization is one of the very best parts of this experience.

I must caution though - doing MechLab for a long while with beer in hand sometimes causes damaging effects.

Like heading into a match with no heatsinks in an energy heavy mech. Or no ammo... ;)

The weird part is, I see the same 4 mechs over and over... Haven't seen an non AC20 jaeger or over a week, for example?

How come I never get in matches with people that use a the lab a lot?

All I see is cookie cutter Uber Betastrike stupid and stock mech new guys ( I'm ok with the new guys)

Get into the mechlab and figure it out :)

Mechlab FTW! I love playing the design game. I have a feeling the poor saps I drop with are less entertained than I when I take out things like a 6MG/2ERPPC Jager, though :)

Cicada c, standard 100 engine, 6 heat sinks, 1 ton armour, 2 ac20's, 2 tons of ammo, endo. This mech is flawless
