3 camospec colors unlocked.....hot damn thats expensive. Basically $6.00 a color. Seems a bit steep to me. I think $1.00-$3.00 would be in line with current mech costs.

Just an observation i had lol

I used to disagree with how they priced things... but I haven't had a drop without at least one Heavy Metal in it since it was introduced.

It is too steep OP. MWO is just a stepping stone for PGI.

Lego kit, 10179 Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon <----- :)

Sorry OP, but Roadbeer set a precedent! Anyway, I agree with you the cost is too steep (just like that lego kit I cite).

with how easilly they can make new and differnt camo's and colors and just the shear number they can have its rediculous what they charge.

im hoping once they consider the game "live" they will greatly lower prices.

That's the most disappointing thing I've heard all week.

Heh, to bad I can't find virtual items at the Thrift store for a dollar. Which I found this exact unopened set for.

I once gave $15 to a beggar on the street, who then turned around and bought booze with it.

This is very similar to spending IRL $$ in MWO, right?

If PGI is the beggar and MWO is the booze (cause it makes you sick, angry, sad, or any other emotion that being drunk makes you feel), then I would say with utter confidence.... YES.

Helping a man get drunk is doing the LORD's work; a one-way ticket to eternal paradise, and the true meaning of Christmas. Not sure what the issue with that is.

True. I have bought cocktails that were more expensive than $15.00, and I also once paid for a glass of Scotch that was as much as a Legendary Founders pack (******** move, but a mildly interesting story I tell every so often).

But this cuts both ways. Most recently $15 got me XCOM: Enemy Unknown AND Mark of the Ninja.

So PGI Staff are Alcoholics? Alot of people are homeless from addiction to substances, enabling them and expecting them to do anything else than abuse said substance is delusional.

You in this case get something for your money from PGI, the homeless drunk you dont however (unless you like watching people destroy themselves). So not really similar.

I'm not sticking up for PGI, I find the prices too high for most things but that comment irks me in someway that i find disgusting.

for 15$ I got 2 colors, 3 1 time use camo specs, 2 mech bays, and I still have 775 MC left over...

I'm kinda waiting on stuff for our mech models.

You should learn to better virtually invest your $15. This is what the last $15 I spent on a game is getting me.

lol.

Yea.... I think i would of been completely happy with the purchase if I could of picked up a mech AND the 3 colors. IMO paying for a mech at least unlocks X hours of new game play mechanics COULD be worth $15.00 to me. My CTF-4X has been used enough to warrant if I had used MC to buy it. But in the case of the color unlocks, I mean I'll never get to see my Mech in action anyhow.

At the end of the day I dont buy into the whole "PGI" is screwing us thing by any means, the game is great and every patch takes us closer to the vision. Yea some tweeking of price points would be nice, but at the end of the day I've logged 60+ hours into the game and this is the first time I've pulled out the credit card.
