Still not in game even though it was going to be in march. Then promised for April. Is it so bad that we want our $25+ mechs to be in unit colors???

wow yeah... this shoudl be in by now.

i think they have to go back and readd it to the hero mechs. but i wouldn't mind if they simply released the feature as it is added to each hero mech

Well, I'd almost certainly have bought a Heavy Metal by now if it weren't for the fact that this hasn't been implemented yet. Sorry, but I just don't do pink. With the introduction of the standard variants going in now, I just wonder about erosion of interest due to waning novelty. Granted, it will still be unique in that it plays music when something dies, but by making the thing hot pink, I really think they shot themselves in the foot a bit.

Agreed. I bought the thing thinking that I would be able to color it with this patch. Now amazingly we can't. I'm guessing since most of us already have our colors bought they would make very little money on allowing us to paint it because the pattern is set. Instead we get the mighty CHAMPION pay for mech. I for one will not be spending any more money on this game till this feature is available. I'm sick of being told on thing then another happening without being given a heads up. even a "there was a bug and we you still can't color hero mechs" in the patch notes would have been great.

It's more the fact this is the second time a simple feature has been pushed back in favor of what? Champion mech???

You got a link for that tidbit of info? because it looks to me like they added all of the April Creative Director Update in this patch.

I just hope the Founder's mechs are included. I would like to change the color on my Cat-C1(F). Right now you can change just the piping, but I want to alter the main color scheme too.

but they wont fix the game, they will fix 1 or 2 bugs but when they fix them 5 new ones we will have, plus no hero painting

Why did they shoot themselves in the foot? Clearly this is supposed to be Rhonda Snords Highlander. It's pink by lore with the speakers that play music (albeit it's Elvis).

Also, yea, again I am disappoint. I want to repaint my Ilya-Muromets Blue with White stars.

Because pink is one of those colors that I would venture to say that the majority of males actively dislike. As such, my guess is that the lack of repaint options is holding back a lot of potential sales. And now that the standard variants are going in, I think it's fair to say that they may lose some potential sales from folks who just wanted to be first adopters.

Yes, I understand it's a canon paint scheme. That doesn't mean it's necessarily attractive.

No, I'm not suggesting the sky is falling as a result of this. I'm not wailing, gnashing my teeth, tearing my clothes, telling people to grab their pitchforks, crying to teen angst emo music, and preparing to drop a toaster in the bathtub. If you look back over my post history, I'm almost always the guy telling people to calm down and relax. In this case, I'm just explaining why I think it was a tactical error.

A bit disappointed, but bug's before bling (seems like they have done some art-work on the maps that might have eaten the "re-texture the hero mechs" budget.

I do hope we will see it soon.
