I hit alot of mechs right in the centre torso and no damage is done, this is especially bad in light mechs.

The improvement is massive but still a useless weapons verses most lights for me. My ping of 300ms is probably not helping, if i have to fight a light mech against my 2PPC 1x gauss build i have no hope of hitting them.

AFAIK the HSR only negates your ping, not their ping, if they are lag shielding they can still get visual damage but no actual.

You still have to aim infront, but a lesser amount.

Their ping should not be a factor, your ping fluctuations can make detection worse, a stable ping should be better that a fluctuating lower ping.

My ping varies from 160 to 210ms depending on the time of day. But is stable during any given match. The diffrence for me is huge. More damage in every single game.

It's changed my 6xAC/2 Jager from a total joke mech to a total joke mech that rips out CTs from 1000m with ease. I dig it.

hit a commando with an ac10 3 times + some mlas...didnt take the damage i was expecting. the hit showed but the damage was minimal at best...
